[/quote] The long time sucessful coach at Newton was Curtis Barbay.  Both Brian Barbay at Coldspring and Darrell Barbay at Anahuac are his sons.  Coach Brian at Coldsprings was assistant under Jack Alvarez in Kirbyville.  Id bet that anywhere you see either of them coaching it will be for a winning program.  Its in their blood and its all they have ever known!
