I dont know anything at all about Coach Morgan and he might work out and be one of the best coachs Jasper has ever had.  Im not meaning to question his ability, I just questionion the hiring process.  They seem as they went from trying to get the best coach out there with Bowman to hiring the best coach for the situation they got their self into after being played by Coach Bowman.  Was Coach Morgan the best choice out there or was he the best choice to save face?

yea "IF" is the key word there.  Everyone keeps saying they got the one with the exprience and keeps talking about his 3 state championship titles.  I got news for you people there is a big difference in being an DC running another Coaches scheme in a program that had unlimited supply of athletes and being the AD of a large 3A School that is coming off a 2-8 season.  Coach Morgan might prove himself to be the better coach of all the other apps but in my opinion as of this moment they didnt hire the "best" Coach available.

I got a feeling Coach Alvarez, Coach Val, and Coach Barbay are going to be singing "unanswered prayers" once this is all over.    ;D ;D

[/quote] No I think it has more truth than jealous.  I agree 100%.  Why would I be mad Alvarez didnt get the job.  I would much rather him stay in Kirbyville.  I dont know anything about the other two coachs.  I just know the Jasper administration and I know this could have and should have been handled differently.

[/quote] I can promise they are not encouraged not to play.  They just dont.  The two years prior to this year going to State Champ game in football has not helped.  The season dont start until district play and by the time you get the bugs worked out your 0-3 or 04 in district.  Very discouraging.

I still dont like and dont agree with the way this was handled by Jasper Admin.  I'm not sure what happened but they normally do a better job than this.

Yes he is correct.  The information dawg4life is spreading about Jack is not true.  Dawg4life im not sure if thats your opinion or someone is giving you bad information but you need to stop spreading things about Coaches that is simply just not facts.

Wow I ddnt relize his kids was already old enough to be playing HS ball.  It dont seem like that long ago when Coach Sutherland was my coach and the kid was just born.  Congrats even though it is a terrible reality check for me LOL

I bet if Coach Bickham or any of his friends or family read this board I bet they are wishing someone would change the title of this thread to something about the search for a new coach in Jasper and get his name off of it now.  LOL
