I was wondering why Jeff Granger had not won it? Then I read that if they were Athlete of the Year than they could not be Baseball player of the Year because He and Rodrick should have been at least twice!

Silsbee did lose someone from last years team....Coach Trawhon. Silsbee will now see what kind of job he did for them and I hope they have to say they are sorry for letting him go!! I also heard that WO-S is losing a player to LCM! I'm not sayin I'm just sayin!!

You guys were classless talking trash to the Orangefield 3rd baseman. It is sad that Grown men Talk like that to 17 and 18 year old kids!  That being said they IN NO WAY reflect the Class act that Jasper fans were! It was great to see two communities supporting there kids! Orangefield is now Jasper fans, hope you guys win it all! Orangefield hated to lose but it hurts a lot less to lose to a quality team that will represent region III well!!!! Go win it all Bulldogs

Pedro you said that Statum and Angelle are no Matt Hicks well Jasper did not beat Matt Hicks the first game, so I was just pointing out that Orangefield did beat him twice. I feel This series, If they put High School baseball on espn, would make the ESPN Classic channel Sunday morning.

Well if Matt Hicks is your measuring stick (and don't get me wrong you could not have pick a better BASEBALL PLAYER) Orangefield gave him 2 loses this year. Matt Hicks is greatly respected in Orangefield and we all wish him well.

O'field year       320 runs scored  and 98 allowed  in 33 games         playoffs   52  runs scored  and 18 allowed  in  7 games                       Games held to 3 or fewer runs 3 times Jasper  year      300 runs scored  and 96 allowed in 37 games         playoffs   56   runs scored  and 29 allowed in 7 games                       Games held to 3 or fewer runs 5 times So get ready both of these guys can score    

Congrats but that means no Jasper/Orangefield game at Lamar
