Waller barely beat Livingston.... Texas City would wallop Waller.... Waller is a one dimensional running team. Ask PN-G, Texas City, or Livingston how easy it is to run on the Broncos. Waller will not get 300 + yards in rushing. Waller's defense will not be able to stop the Dayton spread passing attack, just ask Nederland (which beat Waller), PN-G, Crosy, Texas City, or Livingston how easy it is to stop Dayton's offense. With 4 turnovers, Dayton still beat the #1 Houston area team (Texas City) very easily. Dayton wins this one, but not in such a huge landslide. I say between 14 and 28 point victory for the Broncos, but..... saying that the Broncos better not be looking ahead. If they come out and play as usual, they win.

I don't think any team has two quality players like Cody Green and AJ Dugat coming back. AJ just might be the best all around player in SE Texas. Don't know why he isn't an option on the voting on the front page poll of setxsports.com Cody, was out all year, but look what his soph. year was like. Wish we knew what district Dayton would be in.... Galena Park doesn't what us in 21-4A and it looks like 22-4A will be glad to have us moved... It kind of stinks being halfway between Houston and Beaumont, NOBODY gives us coverage like the other schools.

If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen... Lumberton had a great year, many of their fans have been smacking other teams all year. Sure it hurts to lose, but this is probably a game yall should have won, and didn't. It was probably unrealistic to think that Lumberton would win state this year, the train ride had to end sometimes. Better this week than next week at the hands of you know who. CONGRATS ON A GREAT SEASON!

I think the 35+ point blowouts are history... There are only eight teams left. If Dayton does take this by Over 35, then WOW!!!! I wonder what the most lopsided victory in a quarterfinal match is? That being said, I really don't see any team without a very good passing team beating Dayton. Dayton's defense is just too quick for any team to keep running the ball. ps... Dayton fans..... However you want to put it, the train ride ended for lumberton tonight, but what a season it has been for all the kids in Lumberton ISD. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen... Raider fans have been putting plenty of "smack" on all the opponents they have beat this year, including the Broncos. Lumberton can lay claim to two great feats this year... They are the only team to beat Dayton in 22-4A, and they knocked out the defending state champs. Great season Lumberton! To all the high school players and students... You really don't realize how much you have impacted your community and school district. There are HUNDREDS of little kids in elementary that have seen you compete and win in the playoffs. They will never forget this. They are now more proud to be Raiders than ever before. I am 41 years old and I still remember the Indian football players from the 1970's when I was in elementary. You have started something in Lumberton that you can be so proud of. To all the returning players next year.... You need to do everything you can to build on this season. Hit the weight room hard and keep on believing! My gut tells me Dayton will not be in 22-4A next year and the much awaited rematch may not ever occur. Hold your heads up high. No matter how your season ended you are all champs to all of us!
