Both predictors were perfect in 22-4A... Lets see how the point spreads worked... POINT SPREADS.... DAYTON +21 OVER CENTRAL Dayton wins by 20 over Central. Point spread almost perfectly predicted. Central does beat the spread by 1 point. NEDERLAND +22 OVER LC-M Nederland wins by 28. Covers the spread by 6. PN-G +12.5 OVER VIDOR Vidor beats the spread and plays PN-G to 7 points. LUMBERTON +10.5 OVER OZEN Lumberton's offense is now rolling. Lumberton destroys the Panthers by 24 easily covering the spread, in fact more than doubling it. CONGRATS TO THE INDIANS, BRONCOS, BULLDOGS, AND THE RAIDERS! What a last two weeks of the season it will be. It is very unfortunate that one of these teams only has two games left. One very deserving team will not be going to the playoffs.

The chain gang has NOTHING to do with the spot of the ball. The sideline ref sets the chains after each first down. The "chain gang" is insignificant on the spotting of the ball.

What do these numbers represent... 8, 0, 0, 13, 0 The 5 point totals allowed by the Dayton Defense since district started. No other team in this district is even close to this. Nederland will be lucky to get two touchdowns in this game. If Dayton scores three touchdowns it will be tough on Nederland. Nederland just scored 35 points on LC-M, the Bulldogs need to remember one week earlier the Broncos clocked the Bears for 49 points. Of course... This game can all change with turnovers. If one team has more than three turnovers, that could be the factor.

Nothing would be nicer for the Bulldog fans to see their Bulldogs lose twice at home to teams wearing PURPLE! At least this week they won't have to listen to Cherokee as a purple team scores over and over on the Bulldogs. Can't wait to see the Bronco touchdowns on the jumbotron.

Central's defense did it's best against the explosive Dayton offense. Dayton failed to score my predicted 34 points, but the defense was able to post its third shut out in district play. STAT OF THE GAME... Central on 4th down conversions... 0 for 6 Dayton runs 4 offensive playes in the 1st quarter but is winning 7 to 0. The first offensive play of the game for Dayton was just AWEsome! AJ gets around the corner then cuts back to the middle of the field and goes all the way to pay dirt. I believe a PN-G win and a Nederland loss clinches a playoff spot for PN-G. In 22-4A I think that is the only way any team can clinch tonight.

Agree.... Texas Stadium is the Astrodome on a meager budget. Can't wait to see what Jones has in the doing on the next Cowboy's stadium... Should be very impressive... Does anyone know what is going to happen to Texas Stadium when they finish the new one????

The last time I looked at the top ten attended games in Texas football history, Katy was not in there. PN-G has at least 5 of the top 10 attended games in the state, most of which were at the dome.

Whenever I hear Cherokee I remember back to all the times that song was sung in unison by over 20,000 PN-G fans in the Dome. No other school had such a huge fan base in that stadium. Although I have heard the field conditions were not the best, nothing beat the atmosphere of a game in the Astrodome. Since the Astrodome is no longer available.... Stallworth stadium with the jumbotron and the concourse that gives you a ground level view of the game is great. Cy Fair's stadium is top notch.
