  1. WHAT A GREAT FRIDAY TO BE WEARING PURPLE!!! The Indians take over sole position of first place by deraling the L-Train and the Broncos continue to roll. Way to go Indians. Must have been AWEsome to be at the Reservation to see the Indians triumph!
  2. I will be at the Bronco game tonight, but the "special spirit" that is passed on from one class to the next will be at the Reservation. Look for PN-G to play the best game of the year tonight. Hopefully the Indian Spirit will need to be hydrated due to leg cramps from dancing to much as Cherokee is played over and over...
  3. The higher you are, the harder the fall.... Got a good feeling tonight the thrill of victory will be on the west side of the Reservation. Good luck to Lumberton. The players are in for a treat tonight. The Reservation seats about 2,000 more than Bulldog Stadium. This is likely to be the largest attended game this year in the Triangle.
  4. Going to video the Broncos roll again at LC-M. Highlights will be viewable tomorrow morning. GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE TEAMS! ps.... I - N - D - I - A - N - S SCALP EM INDIANS SCALP EM! Hopefully tonight Cherokee will be heard from the Sabine to the Trinity! What a game it will be at the Reservation! Wish I could be at the peprally at PN-G. Should be just AWEsome!
  5. Great article. Can't wait to go to LC-M and watch the Broncos offense improve even more.
  6. Crosby would crush any of the three teams Lumberton played in their preseason...
  7. You know you have an intelligent date when your lady asks you where these lines are.... Even if you did have the lines for the first down, it is a human spot of the ball. At the high school level you must accept the fact that the element of officiating the game will have a margin of human error.
  8. Comparing the two predictors of SETX Sports.... VIDOR AT CENTRAL Killer Prediction - Central 27 Vidor 14 Fearless Prediction - Central 28 Vidor 7 NEDERLAND AT OZEN Killer Prediction - Nederland 31 Ozen 13 Fearless Prediction - Nederland 24 Ozen 14 DAYTON AT LC-M Killer Prediction - Dayton 38 LC-M 6 Fearless Prediction - Dayton 35 LC-M 0 GAME OF THE WEEK Killer Prediction - Lumberton 26 PN-G 24 Fearless Prediction - PN-G 31 Lumberton 14 Game of the week is the only one not in agreement.... Other scores are pretty close... Point Spread would be.... Central +17 over Vidor Nederland +14 over Ozen Dayton +33.5 over LC-M and the game of the week... PN-G +7.5 over Lumberton Which game is the upset of the week???? Last week three of the underdogs came through... Will it be two weeks in a row of the underdog?
  9. Last week i predicted against my alma mater and got burned... Can't do it two weeks in a row... Last week was a bad week for me, and Michael in 22-4A... Usually I get three out of four pretty close... We shall see this week.... GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE TEAMS (EVEN THE ONES I DIDN'T PICK)
  10. Thanks for the edit... I posted this after 4 hours of grading math papers.... The cats did get messed up... Wish I had an editor when I post these...
  11. Who will win this Friday.... Read below to find out... GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE TEAMS PLAYING THIS WEEK! The place to be this week... The Reservation. Only one team will be undefeated after this week. The Fearless Predictions can also be read at... [Hidden Content] DISTRICT 22-4A WEEK 4 TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTIONS A huge game this week at the Reservation will highlight the action this week in 22-4A. The FEARLESS PREDICTIONS FOLLOW GAME OF THE WEEK LUMBERTON AT PN-G What a game this will be. Over 10,000 people watching two teams battle for first place in 22-4A. The winner stands alone at the top of 22-4A as the only undefeated team left, and with only three games left, one out of three might be good enough to make the playoffs. The loser could be in a position where another lose could eliminate them from the post season. What will happen at the Reservation this Friday. The Raiders defensive line will finally meet their match as a finely tuned PN-G running game dominates the time of possession. Lumberton's offense won't be able to score enough to keep pace. PN-G has a long 4th quarter drive that uses a lot of clock and clinches the win. PN-G wins by two touchdowns while Cherokee is heard from the Sabine to the Trinity. The Raiders cross Pine Island Bayou on the way home with their undefeated season being terminated. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION PN-G 31 LUMBERTON 14 DAYTON AT LC-M The Bronco's have posted two shut outs in a row. After Friday night, make it three straight shut outs. LC-M's season continues the spiral downward spin as the Broncos enter into their final three big games with tons of confidence. The Broncos roll to another big win this Friday. If the Broncos can make all their PAT's then the final score will be... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION DAYTON 35 LC-M 0 NEDERLAND AT OZEN The Bulldgos travel to Cardinal Stadium to battle the Panthers who are coming off a big win over the Bears. The Bulldogs will play just good enough to overcome a fierce battle from the Panthers. Late penalties by the Panthers kill their last two drives while Nederland scores once in the 4th quarter to seal the win. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION NEDERLAND 24 OZEN 14 VIDOR AT CENTRAL The Pirates visit Central seeking their first district win. Central is reeling after two straight loses. The Jaguars backs are to the wall, one more loss and their post season chances are doomed. The Jaguars put together a good game and keep the Pirates still searching for that initial win. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION CENTRAL 28 VIDOR 7 TOUPS GRAPHICS HAS A 24 AND 12 PREDICTION RECORD
  12. RAIDERS AMBUSHED AT THE RESERVATION PN-G INDIANS NOW IN FIRST PLACE BRONCOS STAMPEDE OVER THE BEARS SHUT OUT STREAK EXTENDED TO THREE GAMES BULLDOGS SURVIVE SCARE PANTHERS RALLY FALLS SHORT JAGUARS KEEP THE BLACK PEARL SUNK PIRATES STILL SEARCHING FOR THEIR FIRST WIN
  13. Central was pretty much a sure top three team preseason pick, now they are one loss from being terminated.... Most people had Nederland being in the top three... In my "mojo vision" it looks like the Bulldog's last game against Lumberton will be for the third spot. A Lumberton win and the Bulldog's playoff streak will be.... terminated. Lumberton is riding high now, and deservedly so.... All could come crashing down if they lose to both midcounty schools. Lumberton has answered the call in big game after big game, can they keep it up... The last game against Nederland could be the biggest of all. One more loss for Dayton and the Broncos' playoff chances could be terminated... So much could happen the last four weeks. Right now I would say Central has to be the biggest dissapointment.
  14. Lumberton just has a great group of athletes that have been playing together and winning since Junior High. This could be a possible scenario for the Raiders... They get edged out at PN-G and play Nederland with one loss. Nederland only losses to Dayton going into the last game with two losses. PN-G is undefeated playing the one loss Broncos. If Dayton beats PN-G then Nederland is in with a win over the Raiders and the Raiders are out. I got a good feeling that the Nederland - Lumberton game will be an elimination game for one of those teams. Lumberton must win at least one of the games against mid county. They have the team to do it, but if they make several offensive mistakes they could easily lose.
  15. Check out the great highlight video I created... You can view it at... www.toupsgraphics.neptune.com It is in the GAME HIGLIGHT album, game 6 highlights or go to... [Hidden Content] hopefully that link will work if you haven't created a user account... The video features two jacked up clips, plus some rewind slow motion action. Wish I had the time to do this each week. Now pasted below are my weekly previews... Hopefully Michael Myers and myself can do better than one and three this week... I do have to say, in the Dayton game, I had the six TD shut out accurately predicted... My previews can also be read at... [Hidden Content] DISTRICT 22-4A WEEK 4 TOUPS GRAPHICS PREVIEWS A huge game this week at the Reservation will highlight the action this week in 22-4A. The game previews follow GAME OF THE WEEK LUMBERTON AT PN-G The Raiders are playing in one big game after another one. They were the first team to give the Broncos a loss in 22-4A, two weeks later they put a huge dagger into the Jaguars playoff chances with a big win. Both of those games were in Lumberton, and now they must travel to the Reservation where the Indians are surging with confidence after a huge win over their arch rivals last week. Both teams have great defenses, the game will be won by whichever offensive team can win the battle in the trenches. Only one team will leave the field undefeated. It is a very good bet that both these teams end up in the play offs, but only one can possibly become the district champs. WHO WILL WIN.... CHECK BACK THURSDAY FOR TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION DAYTON AT LC-M The Bears have been skinned two weeks in a row, will they have any growl left when the mighty Broncos come to visit. Last year PN-G was humbled at LC-M, can the Bears get enough game to hang with the Broncos. In three district games Lumberton's game winning TD and 2 point conversion have been the only points scored on Dayton. Dayton has posted two straight shut outs while scoring over 30 points a game. This trend could easily continue Friday at LC-M. WHO WILL WIN.... CHECK BACK THURSDAY FOR TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION NEDERLAND AT OZEN The Bulldgos suffered their first loss of the season last week at the hands of the one team they would never want to lose to. Can the Bulldogs rebound and get back on the winning track? Last week Ozen shocked the Bears with a big win. Ozen has talent, but can they play a good four quarters as a team? This game could be closer than most people think if Ozen can get it together. WHO WILL WIN.... CHECK BACK THURSDAY FOR TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION VIDOR AT CENTRAL Will the Jaguars throw in the towel after their second straight loss, or will they get refocused and get a big win. One more loss and the Jaguars are done. They need to run the table and hope for help with other teams losing. If they get past the Pirates, they have to travel to Dayton next week in a must win game. The Pirates are playing good ball, just not getting any breaks. The Pirates did post two touchdowns against a good Raider defense. Can they pull of a huge upset win and terminate the Jaguars post season chances? WHO WILL WIN.... CHECK BACK THURSDAY FOR TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION TOUPS GRAPHICS HAS A 24 AND 12 PREDICTION RECORD
  16. Green is out for the year. Lumberton is very lucky they played Dayton first. Dayton is a much better team now. There are four teams with one loss or less... Lumberton, PN-G, Nederland, and Dayton. Probably a sure bet that three of those four represent the district. Dayton has a very good chance to be one of the three.
  17. If you parallel park in the neighborhood behind the visiting stands you don't have to walk that far, and it makes it easy to exit.
  18. Agree No way will a team with three losses get in this year, two losses may be too much. It is a very possible reality that PN-G, Lumberton, and Dayton all end the year at 6 and 1.
  19. As a PN-G grad... Whatever the Old Neches Butane refinery is now (I think it's Huntsman) has no where near the effect on the nasal senses as the worlds largest sulfuric acid plant located across the tracks from Cardinal Stadium. Leaving Lamar at night sometimes the sulfur odor was to the point of being unbearable.
  20. Lets add... The aroma of a sulphuric acid plant mixed with Seaport Coffee. As for the topic... Silsbee's stadium design is tops over here... Next year, if the pictures become reality, the Reservation will be the premiere football stadium in all of East Texas.
  21. The defensive front seven from Lumberton really impressed me. I can see PN-G having trouble just pounding away at them. Will be interesting to see if the Raiders can slow down the Indians running game. They did an excellent job of stopping the Dayton running game.
  22. Thanks for the explanation... I knew that a three way tie went into some type of point spread to break the tiebreaker. If I were a coach I would be thinking about this if I could get an extra TD or fieldgoal at the end of the game. I really see Lumberton losing at least once. Could be a three way tie for first or even for 2nd place. Will be very interesting as the weeks go by.
  23. Might very well be... Friendswood only had 2 quarters of film with AJ at QB. Lumberton had a whole game of scouting and they had a great defensive game plan. Lumberton's defensive front seven is without a doubt the best front seven Dayton has played. They bottled up AJ and contained him. Putting AJ at reciever means that you must sacrifice an additional d back to double him, that frees up another receiver. Greg is probably not as good an all around athlete as AJ, but he is a much better QB. Looking at the games from my videos, Dayton is playing much better now that AJ is out at receiver. As far as WOS, they could very well take 22-4A. Will be interesting seeing how the Lumberton PN-G games turns out. Every week it seems like Lumberton just plays better and better.
