Sorry they are late... Monday night = volunteer night at the church for the fall festival Tuesday night = trip to Beaumont (my mom had successful heart surgery (amazing what modern medicine can do)) so.... Better late than never... [Hidden Content] Enjoy the reading... Big games this week.... PN-G, Dayton, Ozen, and BH will for sure be keeping track of the Vidor vs Livingston game.  Tough to call that one...  Will the Pirates rest the starters?  The Lions will be playing for their lifes, but the Pirates don't want to go into the playoffs on a two game losing streak.  Still don't know which way I will go...

Seven teams means each team has an off week in district. Would Livingston be pulled from the Triangle to be placed in the new 22-4A, or would they stay in the Triangle?

If... GCM, Dayton, BH, and Livingston all stay 4A, and assumming all the current 20-4A teams stay 4A, one team from outside the triangle must be pulled in to make 20-4A have an even number of teams.  Before Livingston, it was Dayton.  I guess Dayton did "political procedures" to get out of 20-4A.  BH probably has the $$$ and the policital clout not to be placed over there. IMO... I wish Dayton would have stayed over in 20-4A.  It's better competition, and practically every away game you play in front of a packed home side.  That sure beats going to CE King and playing in front of 2 dozen or going to North Forest and playing in front of 30.  Sure, the away games are over an hour each, but the fans in the triangle are the most passionate around and they support their teams.

Even better though.  After spotting Crosby 14 points in less than 5 minutes of the first quarter, the Broncos held a very good offensive team to just 10 points in 3.5 quarters.  Take away the offensive penalties, the Broncos probably wouldn't have punted so much.  Hopefully we can get close to half a hundred points on CE King this weekend and the defense plays lights out again.

A very key game will be Livingston at Vidor.  If Vidor wins and Ozen wins Ozen plays Barbers Hill and Dayton plays PN-G. The Lee vs Memorial game is also big. Nederland will get the winner of this game.

It's been a long day...  Right now more video clips are being uploaded to my youtube channel.  If my internet doesn't falter, they will be viewable soon. Andres 19 yard TD run (AMAZING!)  Some defensive highlights, and Gamal's 1 hand grab are among the clips being uploaded.  Hope it all goes up.  Tomorrow afternoon, I will try to do the voice overs for the North Forest and Crosby games.  Hope all of you enjoyed the beautiful Saturday.  Wish I could stay up and watch the rest of the USC Stanford game, but I have ran out of gas.

I am editing the 2nd quarter of the game now.  Don't know what happened,but during the 2nd quarter the Broncos got there swagger back.  On the drive that scored Dayton's first TD, there was a roughing the passer penalty that got Dayton a first down on third and long, Gamal then catches three straight passes and the Broncos go inside the 10.  Dayton scores, then blocks the punt (punter fumbled the ball) two plays later, McBride scores again, and the Broncos are rolling.  Seemed that Crosby had like a half step speed wise on us in the first quarter, then all of a sudden, the defense started making plays behind the Cougar line of scrimmage, just enough to stop the Cougar offense.  The Broncos held a very good offense to just 10 points for 3 1/2 quarters.  Got to start feeling good now.  The Broncos need to put up half a hundred this week on the Panthers.  If the defense plays another good game, I got to like the Broncos chances against PN-G or Livingston.

Of all the teams Dayton has played this year, in 19-4A, Crosby does have the most overall team speed.  The Hill should win this, but Crosby does have the athletes to break a couple of plays.

Play of the game right at the camera man (thought I kept my mouth shut).  As Gamal turns the corner, notice there is nothing but green to the end zone.  AMAZING THERE WASN'T A BLOCK IN THE BACK!!! [Hidden Content] I have to go to a conference about Foriegn Exchange Students with my son today.  The rest of the highlights (including Gamal's one hand snag) will be uploaded hopefully tonight.  Good news for the Broncos...  GAMAL FOWLER is BACK!!!  That is bad news for opponents.

To the topic of the thread... I am giving up my future picks, but this from WOS Grad in another thread... [i]5) PN-G wins out and Livingston and Ozen go 1-1 with Livingston's loss being to Vidor.  That would put PNG at 5-2, Vidor at 5-2 and Livingston and Ozen at 4-3.  Ozen would go since they have the tiebreaker[/i] If that did take place (which is what Toups Graphics "Jimminy Cricket" is saying, the scenario I am predicting Nederland vs Memorial (if Memorial beats Lee) Vidor vs Crosby (if Crosby doesn't lose out and Baytown Lee win out) Barbers Hill vs Ozen Dayton vs PN-G I would favor BH in a game against Ozen.  With that victory BH would end their perfect 4A playoff record, which I don't think they want anyone to know about.
