BH NED Livingston [/quote]The last team playing has the best season.  When Crosby beat Dayton, they ended up watching Dayton play two more playoff games.  Who had the better season?  Just checking out the brackets, it looks like BH will square off against Brenham in round 2.  Nederland looks like it will be in the Pearland Dawson side of the bracket, they will play in round 3.  BH and Nederland will be underdogs in both those games (not saying they can't win, but they will be underdogs).  If Livingston doesn't stumble again, they will be the 1st seed in division II, they will be favored going into round three where they will play Manvel, who will probably end up getting beat by Dawson.  24-4A had all four of their teams playing in the regional round, the route through Houston will go through that district.

[/quote]It will be from the Friendswood, LaMarque district.  That district will likely put two teams into the quarter finals.  However, if the Bulldog defense keeps on barking, a win in round three probably puts the Bulldogs into the quarterfinals. Last year it was in that round that Dayton got beat by LaMarque and PN-G lost to Manvel.

Dayton will have to find a way to stop the runs up the middle.  After our first touchdown, Baytown Lee took the ball, went over 70 plus yards and used 8 minutes of the clock.  The Broncos can't allow that to happen.

Question.... The first time the Lee had the ball, they had a 3rd and 11 right off the bat, they throw a fade route to the right receiver.  Armando was flagged for interference.  On the video it looks like #80 (the receiver) slowed up and Armando ran into him, the ball was catchable, but #80 never made a move at the ball, it was like he was trying to get Armando to run over him.  If the official sees that, do they have to throw the flag even though the defensive player ran over him?  Never really seen that before.  Kind of like flopping in basketball to get a charge, even though you weren't touched.  At the end of the play #80 fist pumped like he was trying to get the flag.  If that play was stopped, Lee would have punted, instead they drive down the field and consume the clock for practically the whole first quarter.

[/quote]Correct.  There are like four "studs" on the freshmen team, each one contributes, not one of them alone was the "actual" go to guy.  I think they even rotated QB last year in 8th grade with like three of them taking turns.  Mike and JD were the "GO TO GUY" on there teams.  This is a different situation.  I BELIEVE IN THE COACHES AND THE PLAYERS!  They will get the Broncos fired up and back on track.  The first step is getting #20 back 100%.  Without JD we really need Fowler at 100%.  Until then the offense won't be the same.

[/quote]Not on a B team.  Last year this 9th grade bunch beat the tar out of Cunningham (North Shore's main feeder school).  That was the first time Cunningham has a lost a football game in years.  The Dayton 9th grade bunch has 5 legit athletes with break away speed and lots of size.  I would think before next year is over, they are seeing some action at least on the defensive side of the ball.

[/quote]Basing my prediction on what I saw last year from the Livingston team that Dayton edged out.  When you got three true break away speed options running the offensive scheme they have, I just see the Lions breaking too many long plays.  Dayton won last year because they "outscored" the opponent.  For Nederland to win (or anybody else) in 20-4A, that is what is going to have to happen.
