Last years Dayton 8th grade Pony team could have taken out the varsity Liberty Panthers, probably giving them 10 points even.

After watching the video twice, Toups Graphics MVP = Gamal Fowler When we needed a key run or catch, there was Gamal, and in the second half he played both ways, getting an interception and two critical knock downs as D back. ps.... [/quote]It was the first quarter, the QB scrambled and threw the ball, I followed the ball, and barely missed the QB getting clocked on the video.  He must have been really hit hard, took him a while to get up after the pass, which was complete.  FB's offense didn't really make any mistakes in the 1st half.

I am so lucky.  I get to watch the game again while editing the video.  Not many highlights, there really wasn't any long offensive plays except two Elkins pass completions.  Toups Graphics thoughts on video.  The defensive speed on both sides of the ball was AWEsome.  Against defenses with speeds about half a step slower, both teams running backs break several long runs.  The Bronco secondary was AWESOME in the 2nd half!!!  Several big stops on key pass plays.  The Broncos can only get better each week.  I will post highlights soon, hopefully I will have the game highlight up this evening.

This game was a perfect execution of the first rule ALWAYS BELIEVE!!! So proud of the kids!!!  Coming back on a very good 5A team like that, would have to say since I have been in Dayton that is the greatest opening day victory for the Broncos.

[/quote]I don't hold any grudges from that game, as a matter of fact as an educator I respected the thrill of victory from the Lumberton kids in that game.  THEY FINALLY GOT OVER THE HUMP!  I think you would have to put the Lumberton win over LaMarque above the Dayton win, but when the Raiders beat the Broncos, that has to be on the Mount Rushmore of wins for the Raiders.  Just from what I have seen in the JV and freshmen games over the last few years, the Raiders just don't have the talent they had that year.  That being said, GOOD LUCK this year to the Raiders.

I am planning on posting my predictions tonight.  Don't know if this is true, but each year of teaching the first week gets a little tougher mentally and physically on your body.

Looking at the 4A division II, LaMarque would be sitting pretty in that part of the bracket.  The top half of the bracket is loaded.  Dayton vs PN-G in bidistrict would be AWEsome!!!

Got back from taking 24,000 pictures at Camp Cayuga, my summer camp job, and BAM!  Mr. Toups is now teaching 6th and 7th grade math on two campuses.  Getting one classroom ready for school is tough, but how about two.  Anyways...  I still am planning on following the Dayton Broncos and updating my site three times a week.  I just updated [Hidden Content] with this weeks games.  Normally on Tuesday I give previews of the upcoming weeks games, on Thursday I release my FEARLESS PREDICTIONS and on Saturday I give the results for the games.  Sorry I haven't got the site up and running, but my first priority has always been my teaching job, and that is taking so much of my time now.  That being said, GOOD LUCK TO YOUR TEAM THIS YEAR!!!  A few "tidbits" to tease you with...  The Bronco Stampede will continue, the Eagles will soar to new heights, the Indians tomahawk gets sharpened, and the Jaguars will keep Soulja smiling.
