1. I still don't think Tiger has the same "mental" edge he had before, and from just looking at him play, his body is not there to allow the consistency it takes to win a tournament over 4 rounds.  He can put 2 maybe 3 rounds of good golf in, but 4 probably not.  He may win again on tour, but his domintation is OVER.  NO WAY does he win 4 more majors.
2.
64 more days for the new Sonic special ;D
Guess I need to write another script.
3.

Blue and white squares or blue and white checkers with some stripes??
The two most important things about the turf. 1.) It will not be Purple 2.) There will not be a gay Indian hoping around on it
3. It will not make your team any faster ;D 4. The dads at BH can't run through the blow up wishing they were still in high school playing football. 5. It won't help the coach bashing that goes on every year at BH and finally #6, It won't make the the Hill is for real. :D
You forgot #7.  With the turf, the Broncos can put up 54 points in three quarters instead of four.
4. Let's just say that the higher and mightier that you "believe" you are, the more open you become to ridicule. I do admire the devotion and never give up attitude of the kids at BH. I do not admire the parents (who suffer from delusions of grandeur) that overinflate the kids egos into believing they are world beaters. I know BHFan will enjoy the 2011 football season (especially from his new air conditioned sky box with angus beef hot dogs relished with Gray Poupon). BH will make the playoffs in football and be competitive, but in the end they will get stampeded yet once again by their "lowly" neighbors to the north and will keep their playoff record in 4A perfect. Barbers Hill, stock up on the Zoloft and Advil in mid September.  PAIN is coming your way on 9-23-11.
5. Bottom line for Barbers Hill.... They do not have the offensive speed to turn the corners against really good opponents. The Eagles will HAVE to be able to pound the ball between the tackles (heard they had a couple of good plays with a big full back that might just do this). The Eagles will be a playoff team in 2011, but once again, they will keep their 4A playoff record perfect. ps.... Eagle fans, make sure you got your Zoloft prescription filled by the middle of September, on September 23 you will need a lot of anti-depression medicine due to a Bronco stampede. Also, just curious... I heard that with the bond passing, the home side concession stand will have a Grey Poupon dispenser.  Any confirmation on this?
6. Are they going to dismantle and rebuild the visiting section? Congrats on the bond passing.
7. How about this slogan.... If the 2010 Broncos point total against the Eagles is in hundreds of thousands... We only need 2/3 of that amount to have a stadium better than Dayton. I think Dayton fans could think of 54 reasons why the bond should pass. BHFan... Will the bond election be this May or in the fall? Good luck with everything!
8. I got a slogan for the bond election at the Hill... Currently our football team and stadium strive to top the Broncos of Dayton... With a mere $3,600,000 at least our stadium can approach the level of Dayton. Seriously though... Hope it passes for the kids. Stir up the support BHFan!  Good luck to yall.
9.

I think Dayton beats BH by 50
Dayton beats BH by 50 and I'll star in the next Sonic movie, directed by their very own Blades of Glory resident film artist..... ;D ;D ;D
Wouldn't that be something to see... If Barbers Hill spots Dayton another half a hundred two years in a row it will indeed be a black Friday on the hill.
10. Funny stuff.... I am pretty sure there will be more Bronco Sonic deals in the future... The key question is.... Last year in district play it was... Broncos 353 District 19-4A 33 Would you take the Broncos -300 against 19-4A this year????
11.
Dayton should win 19-4A pretty easily.  The Hill will give them the biggest problem but unless Barbers Hill can score 40 on them Dayton will win.  Not enough athletes on the field that can run to keep Dayton from scoring. The problem will not be district it will be bi-district.  If Livingston or Central come out of that district as Dayton's opponent they will give the Broncos trouble.  Livingston will have quite a few skill kids back from a very explosive offense and with Dayton losing what they did on defense it will be hard to stop the Lions. It will be very interesting to see the dynamics of this coaching staff at work.
Good post, don't forget that one of the best group of athletes is entering high school next year.  The freshmen class will be a force to be reckoned with.  If Jakari comes back 100%, the Broncos offense will be very hard to stop.
12. I know it is too late for this, but the Bulldog fans with EZ Tags will be able to zoom zoom zoom down the Katy Freeway. Also... If you have three or more in the car, when you get to the west loop intersection on I-10 (around mile marker 763) STAY LEFT.  The access to the HOV lane is from the left lane.  If you have an EZ Tag you can get on regardless. Good luck to the Bulldogs tonight.  Slow down the game, limit the turnovers, and shoot lights out. I posted this in another thread, it is copied below For those that go to Bush Airport from the Triangle (or needing to go down the toll roads in Houston)... The last segment of BWY between HWY 90 and HWY 59 is now open! It is EZ Tag only.  They are finally openning an EZ Tag store on the north east side of town. Click on the link for the information on the new EZ Tag store. [Hidden Content] To get an EZ Tag they will need the vehicle VIN # and the license plate.  For each car you get an ez tag for they deduct $40 from a credit card.  It is pretty painless to get one.  I just wrote my license plate number on my car insurance (which has the VIN #) and it didn't take long at all. As they said on ch 13 Friday morning, "Finally, after three generations of workers, they finished BWY 8."
13. Dayton has really been blessed with some amazing football athletes.  From watching over a decade of Bronco football from 7th to varsity what makes this 8th grade bunch different is the number of kids with break away speed.  Usually the really good Pony teams have had two kids that could break it on any play, the best two combinations were Cody Green / AJ Dugat, and Michael Dugat / James Maxwell.  This 8th grade bunch has about 4 guys on that level.  The defense this team plays is on par with the Pony team led by Gable and Smesny (still think they were the best defensive group we have had since I have been here)  Beating Cunningham as bad as they did was huge.  I believe Cunningham had less than four first downs the whole game.  Bottom line, don't know if they will need any of the freshmen next year (this years 8th graders) on varsity, but there is a lot of talent being pumped into the high school next year.
14. He is not AD / Headcoach, so it would be hard to compare his salary to another that head coach that would hold both postions, that being said, I don't know how they did his salary yet.
15. I haven't seen Central play, this should be a dandy!  Huntsville is really good.  Go the Dayton vs Huntsville thread for a good scouting report.
16. Huntsville is much quicker than Barbers Hill. They have two six footers that can really jump.  They got most of the rebounds.  They started the game out 10 to 0 which included two for two from the three point line. #13 is their point gaurd and she is quick.  On fast breaks she almost always passed the ball off when I thought she could have gone in for a lay up.  She really involves the other team members.  Would be very interesting to see them play Barbers Hill (the only other good girls team I have seen this year).  I think they would beat the Eagles, just due to their speed.  They are really quick.  The Huntsville coach put in the subs with 2 minutes left and they really didn't drop in intensity that much.  Good luck to Central playing this team.  Dayton's only chance was to slow the game down and they couldn't do it.
17. Huntsville has about a half step advantage Half Huntsville 38 Dayton 19
18. Dayton is getting blessed with a bumber crop of talent coming into high school next year.  Dayton High School is loaded with speed.  Looks like to me that most if not all of the current coaching staff is going to stay intact for the football team.  Dayton will stomp 19-4A again this year and will make another good playoff run.
19. Would hate to see Livingston's shot chart.  I don't think they shot over 20% from the floor.  Just didn't have the shots tonight.  Congrats to the Lady Broncos.
20.
Administration Position: Head Football Coach, In-district Applicants only,   Deadline to apply February 15, 2011   Submit resume to Athletic Director   This was on the Dayton ISD website. So The head coach position has NOT been determined yet.
I believe you have to post the position, even though you may know who will be getting the position.
21. Toups Graphics predicts.... BH Score > 2 x ( Vidors Score ) One thing BH knows how to do is to bring it to the court with lady basketball. Good luck Eagles.
22. I think this was the right decision.
