Dec 3? Must be either.... The date Eagle fans have circled to go support the Broncos playing in a quarter final game for the fourth straight year or... That might be the date that the Eagles play the Broncos in basketball, and they will celebrate when they get to 54 points. Which one is it?

If the article scenario becomes reality, then.... Dayton gets to play PN-G!!!! HOT DOG!!! Get to see my alma mater! Unfortunately for the Indians, the Broncos stampede will continue.

Finally.... I perfectly predict 20-4A, but BAM!  19-4A posts two big victories by the Eagles and the Patriots. I am having trouble getting the video to the computer, so it slowed up my work flow. Right now I am predicting a four way tie for second, three are in and one is out.  Who would be the odd team out in this scenario? Nederland winning out and going 4 and 3 (I believe they are in) LC-M beating Livingston and losing to Nederland, they will be 4 and 3 (are they in) Livingston losing to LC-M and beating Vidor 4 and 3 (are they in) PN-G beating Vidor losing to Central 4 and 3 (are they in) 

I wouldn't want to be a team that beat Dayton pretty bad then come back next year not playing so year. If Crosby falls behind to Dayton like it did to Memorial, Galena Park, and CE King, the will be NO comback.

BH has something that Crosby doesn't A DEFENSE! BH has been very impressive since getting blasted by Dayton. DEFENSE wins games and for the Hill to hold GP to 7 points, is VERY IMPRESSIVE. That same Yellow Jacket team just clocked Crosby for 40 plus points. The Hill wins next week and clinches a playoff spot. Crosby might just very well be in a must win situation after getting stampeded in (at the current time) 163.5 hours.  Crosby's big edge is it has beaten Galena Park and Memorial, if they all tie at three losses, I believe the Cougars limp into the playoffs.

FYI... The Broncos 42 points came in just two quarters. 21 in the 2nd, and 21 in the 3rd.

Where will the JV and Freshman Dayton vs Crosby games be played on Thursday? North Forest played in Dayton, even though the Varsity game is there. Forgot the team, but one week the JV and FR played in Dayton and the Varsity was in Dayton.

They got sick and tired of getting POUNDED by the Ponies every year.  Using your same logic, your varisty Cougars are in for a long Friday night.  If Galena Park can put up 42 points on the Cougars, the Broncos could double that playing their starters all night.

I would give Gentry 20 points and they still wouldn't beat the 8th A Ponies.

Been perfect in 19-4A twice this year, but I haven't been perfect in 20-4A. The bottom of the barrel teams are really bad in 19-4A, but in 20-4A, there is so much more parity. Anybody can beat anybody in that district.  There are no easy games. To my prediction, I do think the Bulldogs will win out, and get 4th place. A loss Friday night will eliminate the Bulldogs.

That is a good question. When was the last time Dayton lost a home district game. I can not recall.

They are high school coaches and have the athletes they are dealt with.  Sometimes it is not their fault if they have no wins, but the kids are doing all they can. The key is to make them play the best they can, win or lose. Of course, one of my criterea is that the coach makes the players BELIEVE they can succeed in not just the sport they are competing in, but in life itself.

Dayton will likely crush either LC-M or Livingston. Crosby will eliminate the Bulldogs (the Bulldogs have the easiest schedule left in 20-4A, and I think if they win out, they are in). Galena Park will be playing Central, they will get hammered. Barbers Hill will play the winner of the LC-M vs Livingston game. If the Eagles can play the Cougars and Yellow Jackets close over the next two weeks, they might have a chance.  I sense the Eagles loss by over 10 against both of these teams, and likely their bidistrict opponent. That gives you a 2 and 2 split, just like last year.
