The rankings are according to who is playing last, not according to who I think would beat each other. Right now I think BH will get 4th place and make the playoffs.  I don't see Lumberton getting there, but in 20-4A who knows.  Since BH will be playing in bidistrict and Lumberton won't BH is ranked higher.  There will be 8 teams making the playoffs.  In week 1 of the playoffs I don't see BH beating any of the other teams, that is why they are ranked 8th.

I think the Indians will find a way to win it. If the Raiders do win, look for them to outscore the Indians in a shoot out.  Either way, I hope it is a good game and no one gets hurt.

[Hidden Content] I agree, Dayton needs to shut out the Ganders, and punt less than two times.  Last week the Broncos punted four times in the first quarter.  The Broncos are playing great, but they can still improve, and I know they will continue to improve, because....  THEY ALWAYS BELIEVE!!!

I still enjoy going back and reading through these posts... My favorite... BHFAN "Every year we have heard about this 50 point mythical beat down that Dayton is going to do and you couldn't even do it with your State team  I do understand your admiration for the football team as there is nothing else to cheer about in DISD and Believing is ok to, but at some point it just makes you look plain ignorant." Well.... BHFAN must have been a "Fractured Fairy Tales" fan (you remember from the Bullwinkle Show).  That "mythical 50 point beat down" still brings a smile to us Bronco fans. Oh, and don't forget... THE HILL IS FOR REAL!

Here is to hoping the Broncos play a game without a turnover. A big game from the Broncos can push the scoreboard to the half a hundred point total yet again.

The penalty on Matt Barton was incorrectly called (got it on video tape). I could see the flag being thrown as it did look like a horse collar. Matt correctly made the tackle with both hands grabbing cloth on top of the shoulder pads instead of pulling on the neck line.

I think GP will win that game.  ;) ;D [/quote] The Crosby vs GP game will be a dandy.  If the GP QB can get a little more accuracy, look for the Yellow Jackets to win that one.  Will be interesting to see if Crosby continues to improve.  Heard they had a lot of kids hurt before district.  They put up 45 on North Forest, most of that in the last three quarters.  As far as the game in four Fridays in Dayton, the Broncos reloaded with way more fire power than any team around.  The offense in the 4th quarter of the Barbers Hill game was almost all sophomores and they still scored a td on the Eagles first string defense.

Looks like the video will be viewable around 10:15. Thoughts after watching this game over again on the computer. Dayton continues to get better.  Defense did a great job against a really good offense. Don't see the Broncos losing if the defense can generate turnovers.  And a big hand to Jakari Delasbour.  His best game as a Bronco was a big plus.  The kick off return to start the 3rd quarter took any wind out of the sails for any hope from the Yellow Jackets. Galena Park is a good team.  If the QB would have had some accuracy, this could have been a barn burner. #3 and #11 for GP are really good receivers.  Being a Bronco fan, and assuming Dayton gets revenge against Crosby on October 29, the Cougars October 15 game with the Yellow Jackets will be for 2nd place. Enjoy the highlights.

No.... THE HILL IS FOR REAL!

With all the great Bronco offenses we have had, I don't think any of them in the last decade ever posted three straight 50 plus point games.  If the defense can generate 4 or more turnovers, these Broncos just might post over half a hundred for the third straight week.

Hope all is well with him.  He is a good kid.

I was VERY impressed with Galena Park.  They will give Crosby a run for thier money.  The QB was throwing off target against the Broncos.  He is not that accurate, but #3 and #11 are AWEsome receivers.  The defense did hold Jakari to little or no gain on many plays, but Jakari had half a dozen to ten carries that were over 10 yards.  Thursday morning I will tell you who will win this game.

If Nederland can stay healthy, I think they are in.  There QB is a very good athlete. I have #1 Central #2 Livingston #3 LC-M #4 Nederland

Could the Broncos get halfway over maxing out the double digit score board again? Without turnovers, the Broncos might just get 3/5 of the way to maxing it out.
