Vidor vs. Dayton Predictions?
PURPLE 4EVER replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Extreme post of confidence here, but... Who has more yardage.... Ploch + Fowler + Baldwin or the entire Vidor offense? If Ploch has another game like last week, Vidor will be dribbling basketballs in the 3rd quarter. Check out the video on youtube for the last Bronco football game. The defense did an AWEsome job! Lots of tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Also check out the 4th down stop by Aaron Jenkins about 4 minutes into the video. He wiffs the offensive linemen and makes the stop. -
not as much because Crosby's defense is WAY better than Vidors. Vidor better hope they can score early. If they fall behind quickly it will get really ugly, just ask Brenham what happened last year, Dayton clocked that very good team for 35 points in the first half. -
(((HEY))) I know this has nothing to do with the game Saturday. But I knew this is where I could find all the Dayton ppl or alot of them.I was wondering how many from Dayton were going to the PNG BH game Friday night.
I am going to the PN-G vs Barbers Hill game... Might even live life on the edge, wear my purple and white, sit on the BH side and sing Cherokee as loud as I can (which is pretty vocal) every time PN-G scores. I am sure the BH faithful will welcome me with open arms once they find out that I am actually the Toups Graphics man? -

All 4 of them predict that Angleton will make it to State and 3 out of 4 predict that Angleton will win it all. Interesting. I guess that means whoever knocks Angleton out of the playoffs becomes the new frontrunner...
That is what I have been "fearlessly predicting" since about the 4th week of the season. Having Angleton in division II is bad news for the Broncos and worse news for PN-G (sense they will play them first (if the Indians can get past Brenham)). We all need to remember, not only does it take talent to make it out of Region III, it also takes a little luck and avoidance from the injury bug. If your star player or players get hurt it really terminates your season. Any key player getting hurt on any of the teams really changes everything (including those brackets).
Its been proven that Angleton can loose. They lost to Manvel ? (spelling). I know that they are as close to one dimentional as Vidor is. THeir man Diggs. I heard he got injured or something to that nature. But untill then we have BH to play. Even though PNG is undefeated they are still not being taken serious. THats ok we can come in under the radar and see what happens. PNG will go much deeper than most expect. Just a gut feeling. Also I believe that no respect has been given to Central. They will go much deeper than most expect.
If PN-G and Dayton were switched in the brackets, Dave Campell editors probably would have the same scenario with PN-G going to quarter-finals and Dayton getting ousted by either Brenham or Angleton. PN-G really did get in the harder half of the bracket. As stated previously... If Dayton's sophomore QB keeps improving, along with the defense, in four weeks this team might very well be better than Angleton. The defensive speed in the front seven for Dayton is probably the best west of the Brazos. Also... If Dayton can make it to the quartefinals, with all the sophomores, and even freshmen that have been pulled up which might see action in the second half, this Dayton team will really be the favorites in Region III for the next few years. The present and future really looks bright for Bronco fans. I doubt no other team has as many sophomores and freshmen getting quality playing time like the Broncos.

TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTIONS!
PURPLE 4EVER replied to PURPLE 4EVER's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Sorry about that... This morning I posted the Predictions, but forgot to upload the predictions to the website... The predictions are now on my website and on this post. Toups Graphics went with the #1 and #2 seeds from each district as winners this week.... Why don't we see how you all see this... What game do you most likely see the #3 or #4 seed pulling off an upset... Would it be Game #1 Barbers Hill beating PN-G Game #2 Goose Creek Memorial beating Central Game #3 Nederland beating Crosby or Game #4 Vidor beating Dayton What do you guys think... Which favorite is most likely to get upset. Good luck to everyone this weekend! ALWAYS BELIEVE! One more thing... Unless there is another video glitch, the Dayton vs LBJ game should be done this evening. -
It's that time of the week.... who WHO WHO will win this weekend!!!! REGARDLESS OF MY PICKS GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE PLAYERS AND COACHES, AND FOR ALL THE FANS HAVE A SAFE TRIP TO AND FROM THE GAME! Weather this weekend will be immaculate! Enjoy the games and cheer on your team! The Predictions are also at.... [Hidden Content] TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTIONS BI-DISTRICT The regular season is over the best of the best survived to play for the greatest UIL trophy of them all, the state championship football trophy. This week PN-G and Barbers Hill travel to Baytown's Stallworth Stadium, Crosby and Nederland travel to the Woodlands for a Saturday afternoon game at Woodforest Stadium, Dayton and Vidor travel to Huntsville, and Central won a toss and will host Goose Creek Memorial at the Babe. The weather this weekend should be SPECTACULAR! Enjoy the playoff action and watch our youth perform to their very best level. Good luck to all the players and coaches this weekend, and for the fans, have a safe trip to and from the games. Now then, who will win this week? Keep on reading. 4A PLAYOFFS BIDISTRICT FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13 Barbers Hill vs PN-G Stallworth Stadium, Baytown, TX 7:30 PM PN-G comes into this game being state ranked in the top 10. Barbers Hill qualifies as the 4th place team in 19-4A and faces a very formidable opponent. Barbers Hill hasn't beaten a playoff team this year, but as the Aggies say, they have been a turnover here and a turnover there from being a much better team. Earlier in the year PN-G barely beat the Eagles, now the Eagles want revenge. Look for a close game in the 1st quarter, then finally the drums will start beating to the rythym of Cherokee as the Indians pull away. A late comeback by the Eagles will be to little to late. PN-G wins by two touchdowns and advances to the 2nd round. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION PN-G 31 BARBERS HILL 17 Goose Creek Memorial vs Central Babe Zaharias Stadium, Beaumont, TX 7:30 PM The Jaguars are on a two game losing skid while the Patriots survived 19-4A with only two losses against the 1st and 2nd place teams. Central will outgun the Patriots this week and pull away. The game will never be close and the Jaguar reserves play much of the second half. This week BMTSoulja will be smiling as he chows down on his second half concession stand feast. The Jaguars win big at the Babe. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION CENTRAL 35 GOOSE CREEK MEMORIAL 7 SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14 Crosby vs Nederland Woodforest Bank Stadium, The Woodlands, TX, 2 PM The Cougars were written off after being humiliated in the first two games of the season, then once district started, BAM! The Cougars are the real deal. Crosby handed Dayton it's worst district defeat and it's only scoreless game of the decade. Nederland was written off just a month ago, but a courageous three game winning streak to end the season vaulted the Dogs from worst to third place. This week both teams travel to the Woodlands. This game will be brutal for the Bulldogs. Look for the Crosby defense to deliver a punishing pounding to the Bulldogs. Nederland stays in the game for a half, but then gets overwhelmed. Crosby wins big, pulling away in the second half. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION CROSBY 42 NEDERLAND 21 Dayton vs Vidor Bowers Stadium, Huntsville, TX 7:30 PM The Pirates enter the season as one of the favorites to win 20-4A, but they finish the year not having beaten a playoff team. After being humiliated by the Crosby Cougars, the Broncos reshuffle some players and are now possibly playing the best 4A football east of the San Jacinto. Look for the Dayton defense to win this battle as the Broncos will sink the Black Pearl until next year. The Pirates get two long scoring drives this game but the Pirate punter punts prolifically. Dayton forces six punts and the Bronco offense will post a 400 yard plus game. The Dayton freshmen finish off the Pirates in the 4th quarter. The two time defending Region III champs make a huge statement in bi-district. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION DAYTON 41 VIDOR 14 TOUPS GRAPHICS POWER RANKINGS NOVEMBER 8 With the regular season over Toups Graphics Power ranks the eight playoff teams from 20-4A and 19-4A. #1 PN-G - Finishes the regular season undefeated (enough said) #2 Crosby - Goes through 19-4A undefeated #3 Dayton - After it's loss to Crosby, the Broncos start a sophomore QB, over the last four games the play has drastically improved. The Broncos defense hasn't allowed a point in the last eight quarters. #4 Central - Two losses in the last two weeks have exposed weaknesses in the Jaguars. #5 Goose Creek Memorial - Except for the Dayton game, Memorial has played very good this season. #6 Vidor - The running power game is exposed in three district losses. If the Pirates can't find a passing game, life will be tough in Huntsville this Saturday when they play the Broncos. #7 Barbers Hill - Without turnovers this is a good team, against top notch 4A teams the Eagles might just be 1/4 step slower. The Eagles will need a great all around effort against #1 PN-G this Friday. #8 Nederland - Given up for dead four weeks ago, the Bulldogs watched the entire Rocky movie collection and storm back into the playoffs. WEEK 10 RESULTS END OF REGULAR SEASON 4 CORRECT 1 WRONG 80% TOUPS GRAPHICS 2009 RESULTS 75 CORRECT 22 WRONG - 77.3% TOUPS GRAPHICS 2008 PREDICTION RECORD WAS 53 AND 22 = 70% TOUPS GRAPHICS 2007 PREDICTION RECORD WAS 47 AND 15 =76%

Toups Graphics Playoff Previews
PURPLE 4EVER replied to PURPLE 4EVER's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Currently working on the LBJ highlight video... Just finished the first half. Dayton really looked good looking through the video again. Not many errors and the defense is just really good. The team we beat wasn't that horrible and would have made the playoffs in either 20 or 19-4A. Dayton had several defensive tackles on running plays between the tackles. This is the third week in a row that the defensive play has improved. Would have to say that the LBJ game was the best defensive game of the year for the Broncos. Hopefully that continues on Saturday. Should finish the rest of the video tomorrow evening... EVERYONE IS LESS THAN 12 HOURS AWAY FROM KNOWING THE WINNERS FOR BI-DISTRICT!!! Will your team get picked??? Check back tomorrow around 6 AM! -
Why is everone so SCARED of Angleton?

Round 3 we maybe could see P.N.G vs Angelton Central vs Friendswood Best teams from both Districts...See who has the better District
I got a feeling PN-G will get by Brenham, but Angleton will be tough, if PN-G does play Angleton it won't be in the quarterfinals. -

Would't it be something if..... Crosby and Dayton were to make it out of Region III.... Right now I got to agree the real strength in this region is District 24-4A. -

It is not a strech that Brenham knocks out the PN-G / Barbers Hill winner. Brenham is also one of the top ranked teams in Region III. PN-G really has a tough road to make it out of Region III. Taking out Brenham and then Angleton, then most likely Dayton will be a very tough task. Dayton really drew a good part of the bracket. If the Broncos continue to improve, each game that the sophomore qb gets under his belt can only make the Dayton offense better. Can the Broncos improve enough to take on Angleton??? I have been saying all along that Angleton is the likely Region III champ. They just might have to beat the two time defending Region III winners to make it to the semi's.... Also looking ahead.... If Dayton were to win their 3rd region III championship, they just might get a rematch with Tivy.... I beat there is a lot of Kerrville people who would love to get another shot at the Broncos. FYI... They did predict Dayton and Sulphur Springs in the finals last year, saying they are totally misinformed is just your opinion.
