1. Who will win the four 4A playoff games this weekend??? In less than 18 hours you will know!! The FEARLESS PREDICTIONS will be posted before 6 AM tomorrow!!!
 2. PN-G vs Barbers Hill has two or three threads... Staying up with the Jones'
 3.
If I were Dayton..... I would scrap that 3-4 defense , because if you don't its gonna be a looooooooooong night.
Sure will.... Vidor having to get its punting team out on the field about 10 times will make for a longer game.
 4. Thanks to all those who have served that enable us to live in the country we have today. It still is true that we can tell our students that if you have a dream and if you believe in that dream, in the USA you have the freedom to make the dream become reality! Although I don't agree with the policies of our current President, what a great representation he is of the American dream.  As a teacher I can tell my students that look at Obama, he truly achieved this.  Without the sacrifices our soldiers have made, Obama and many other Americans would likely never have had the chance to achieve their dreams and goals.
 5. If I were Vidor... I would make sure there punter is well warmed up before the game...
 6.
The 3 teams Vidor lost to...... would Stomp all over dayton, and the rest of 19-4a.
Sept. 25 @ Beaumont Central*, L, 56-57 2OT Oct. 16 @ Port Neches-Groves*, L, 13-35 Oct. 30 @ Nederland*, L, 20-22 So... If Dayton were to win by more than 22 your analogy would be totally false. Crosby will waylay the Nederland. PN-G and Central should win this week.  I am sure all the Vidor fans were jumping up for joy when they found out they drew Dayton in the first round.  That was the best news Vidor basketball fans have heard since last February.
 7.
Concerning Daytons linebackers, I just spoke with a buddy of mine who lives in Dayton and he was saying that there has been tremendous movement of players at the inside linebacker position I assume that the ex running back is one of the current starters and that the other is an offensive lineman that has been moved there . Now he wasn't certain but he thought that they had only been playing at these positions for the last 2-3 games. Is this true if so that is not much experience to think that you can stop a running attack like Vidor has. I bet that the coach has a couple of things that these boys haven't ever seen before at least on the defensive side of the ball. I still get back to the same question who have you beaten??
Actually... Dayton has beaten three teams going to the playoffs... Barbers Hill, Goose Creek Memorial, and Austin LBJ. How many of Vidor wins came over playoff teams  ;)
 8.
It's only Tuesday and the smack talk is fading into good football analysis :(.  We haven't even made it past the our team is better than your team and gotten to the our town is better than your town (although we typically lose that battle, can we get a Wal-Mart at least?). Toups/RAPayne....can one of y'all post the stats of both teams?  What about starting line-ups?  Anyone from Vidor have some game film?  P4E has all the Dayton highlights out on Youtube (well he normally does but he's been SLACKING this year).
Games 8 and 9 are posted... Will start working on the LBJ game tonight. With me doing the voice overs, I am only going to post those videos up....
 9.
Vidor Pirates 3436 rushing yards this season, returning 19 starters I believe.
That is right at 343 yards per game. If they can do that Saturday, they may be able to stay close. The last three teams Dayton played had less than 100 yards per game rushing.
 10.
What was the deal with only beating BH forgive me if I get this wrong but I think the score was 24 to 21? My only point is that I really believe that 19-4A is not that tough. I mean who is really a tough out  you have nobody in 19-4A  that was like last years Broncos team or even like last years C.E. king team. I really think that the whole district is weaker than last years if you look at the fall off of King/ North Forest and Crosby, who in my opinion was much better last year. I also happen to rember your scrimage with Lumberton this year that didn't turn out too well. To be honest with you I really followed last years Bronco team closely and have also this year just a habit after the last 2 years post seasons. I am just not that impressed with this years edition of the Broncos.
Against Barbers Hill that is the game Dayton moved all of it's people around. Dayton's sophomore QB took 2 quarters to get in rythm then..... BAM! Dayton crushed Barbers Hill in the 3rd quarter, then the Eagles did a great job of moving the ball in the 4th quarter with two long drives. The score was close, but given the situation with Dayton's QB and moving the players around, and NOT HAVING PLOCH, if Dayton were to play the Eagles now, they would win by much more than three points.
 11.
I have not seen Dayton play in person or on film this year.  I have seen all the Vidor games (except PNG).  I am inherently biased towards the Pirates. I would really be surprised if Dayton's offense is not succesful on Saturday.  I do not see anybody (including Vidor homers) predicting a shutout by the Pirates.  In fact, the best defense that Vidor has against Dayton is their offense.  If the offense can move the ball the way it has in most of the games this year, then Dayton will be given a limited number of possesions to work with.  If Vidor can break up some passes, get some sacks, or big penalities, then Dayton's offense may fail to find a solid rythm.   On Saturday, I really thought that the game would be high scoring and hopefully with the Pirates coming out on top. Now, I read 12 pages of Dayton homers posting about how strong their Defense is.  How good they are against the run.  How they do not have the lineman to go with any more than a 3-man front.  How fast and smart their LBs are.  How no team has been able to run the football on them all year.   All of this I want to chalk up as trash talk (remember, I am a fan) but I realize that it is probably mostly true.   Vidor's stregth is no secret.  You can check for yourself.  Vidor has run the ball with great sucess against almost every opponent.  If Dayton's strength is stopping the run, then this really is going to be a battle of Strength's.   Dayton is the favorite based on district seed, experience, and record.  But I do think this is a match-up that Vidor can win (and I really hope that they do).  I do think that I now know what to look for on Saturday night early.  If Vidor can run the ball early, then I think the advantage swings back to Vidor.
Good post... Vidor MUST have at least one or hopefully two long drives in the first half. If they have more than one three and out, it will be a long night. From experience, I know how good a Vidor running machine is. If Dayton can't slow down Vidor's running game it really puts pressure on the Bronco offense. Just looking at my videos over the last three games, it is amazing how many times the Bronco's defensive front has tackled teams for losses on running plays between the tackles. I don't think Vidor has the team speed to run sweeps against the Broncos. Vidor will have to run the ball between the tackles, if they can't do this, the Black Pearl will sink until next year.
 12. u can't tackle what u can't see and i'm sure 2 of the 3 headed monster can just plow right over em Nice sarcasm Better buy a jumbo size bottle of ibuprofen after the Bronco linebackers bruise up your 3 headed monster.
 13. Over the last couple of years the team that Dayton started the playoffs with was vastly superior than the team they started out with. This year is no exception. Dayton has had three games to get the sophomore QB ready for the playoffs and he is ready. IMO... Vidor will have to stop the run and put pressure on the QB. If they can't do this Dayton easily scores in the 30's.

Vidor has been running against 5 and 6 man lines all year, 8 and 9 men in the box. My point being I do not expect to see Dayton's usual defense, there will be changes.
yeah, central put 10 in the box on us lol i was like seriously? 5 down linemen 4 linebackers and a safety 5 yards from the line of scrimage? lol
We was playing to keep Vidor for Breaking long runs on us. We was banking on allowing them to get 4 or 5 yards a pop to cause turnovers.  It backfired on us as Vidor was content to those short yards and keep it comming.  Those 5 yard runs turned into 7 and 8 yard runs late in the Game.  I think if one takes chances early and attack the middle of that offense, you may be successful.  But you stand the chances of getting fooled by this tricky offense and allow them to break a big run.  It's a give and take type of deal.
yeah, u start run blitzin and we start doing delayed handoffs lol
Unfortunately.... Before you can do the delayed hand off, the qb will be tackled by the much quicker linebackers. All three Dayton linebackers are faster than your running backs.
our o line will swallow those backers, they may be fast, but they r small
u can't block what you can't get in front of. Dayton linebackers shoot through the gaps and get at least five to eight tackles behind the line of scrimmage.
 15.
I just don't understand how you can say that Dayton is as good or near as good on either side of the ball as they were last year. From what I can tell in your regular season you played a couple of good teams last year being Friendswood and C.E. king. Who in the world have you played this year to judge yourselves against?  A friendswood team that is not even close to what they were last year and they still beat you by a point,  when you came back it was almost in trash time. Crosby beat you 28-0. I don't think that you have any where near as good a team this year as the last 2 years? I guess just a question prove to me otherwise. Good luck to both teams.
Defensively this team is better than last years team, after the player switching that was done before the Barbers Hill game. Moving Jakari from running back to linebacker was an AWEsome move. Jakari will most likely be the quickest player on the field on every play. Moving Ploch back to receiver makes the offense better also, the key is how far can a sophomore qb take you. Offensively this team isn't as dynamic as the one with AJ and Cody making the plays, but the athletes Dayton has on offense will match up or be better than the ones that are on the other side of the ball. Hope to see a good game Saturday against Vidor. Vidor will have to slow down the Broncos. No way does Vidor keep up with the Broncos if it turns into a scoring match. If Vidor does get down by more than two scores early on, it could easily turn into an ugly game. FYI... Last week in Austin the freshmen primarily played the 4th quarter and still held LBJ scoreless.

 18. This is also at... [Hidden Content] TOUPS GRAPHICS PLAYOFF PREVIEWS BIDISTRICT The 19-4A and 20-4A district schedule is complete. Congratulations to Crosby and PN-G for winning the district championships going undefeated. Losing only once in district was Dayton who got 2nd in 19-4A while in 20-4A Central ended the season with a two game losing streak, but still finished in 2nd place. In 19-4A Goose Creek Memorial got 3rd place and Barbers Hill enters the playoffs as the 4th place team. 20-4A had a chaotic finish with Nederland winning their last three games to capture 3rd place and Vidor had to win the last game to qualify as the 4th place team. Toups Graphics will guide you through the 4A playoffs until the last team gets eliminated or wins state. GOOD LUCK TO ALL EIGHT TEAMS! Regardless of my predictions on Thursday, play your hardest and never stop belieiving in yourself, your team, and your goals. 4A PLAYOFFS BIDISTRICT FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 13 Barbers Hill vs PN-G Stallworth Stadium, Baytown, TX 7:30 PM PN-G wins 20-4A and draws Barbers Hill in the first round. The Indians enter the game state ranked and very confident. The Eagles will gaurantee 110% effort but will it be enough. The 2 teams openned the season against each other and PN-G came out as 1 point winners. Since then PN-G hasn't lost while Barbers Hill has been on the wrong side of the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat several times. Can the Eagles stay with the powerful Indians for four quarters or will the Indian mascot need an IV to replace lost liquids from dancing to Cherokee continuously all night? Who will win? Check back Thursday for..... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION Goose Creek Memorial vs Central Babe Zaharias Stadium, Beaumont, TX 7:30 PM The Jaguars host the Patriots of Goose Creek on Friday at the Babe. Central enters the playoffs on a terrible skid while Memorial had an off week to get ready for the game. Will the Jaguars rebound after two straight losses and win or will the Patriots stun the Jaguars on their home field? Who will win? Check back Thursday for.... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14 Crosby vs Nederland Woodforest Bank Stadium, The Woodlands, TX, 2 PM The Cougars win 19-4A by rebounding from a horrible start. The Cougars are on a roll with a vicious defense and a great running back / quarter back running combination. The Bulldogs were considered road kill in early October, but an unbelievable fairy tale ending catapults the Bulldogs from the bottom of the cellar all the way to 3rd place. Can the much improved Bulldogs give the 19-4A champs a run for their money, or will the Cougars treat the Bulldogs like one does when negatively reinforcing a puppy in house training (with a rolled up newspaper). Who will be howling on Friday night, the Cougars receiving the teeth of a mighty Bulldog bite, or will the Bulldogs get the wrong end of a tail whipping. Check back Thursday for.... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION Dayton vs Vidor Sam Houston Stadium, Huntsville, TX 7:30 PM The Pirates were considered a real threat to win 20-4A at the beginning of the season but went 0-3 against the top three teams. After getting crushed by Crosby, Dayton shuffles some personel around, moves up three sophomores (including the QB) and BAM! After three games the Broncos look very impressive. The Bronco defense hasn't allowed a point scored in the last eight quarters and the offense is stampeding down the field. Can the Bronco defense continue it's domination against run based teams. If Vidor can't establish the run on Friday and fall behind by a few scores the stampede could be on. Will the Black Pearl be sailing to the horizon with a victory, or will the Broncos knock down all the masts and send the Pirate's ship to the bottom of the River? Who will win? Check back Thrursday for.... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION TOUPS GRAPHICS POWER RANKINGS NOVEMBER 8 With the regular season over Toups Graphics Power ranks the eight playoff teams from 20-4A and 19-4A. #1 PN-G - Finishes the regular season undefeated (enough said) #2 Crosby - Goes through 19-4A undefeated #3 Dayton - After it's loss to Crosby, the Broncos start a sophomore QB, over the last four games the play has drastically improved. The Broncos defense hasn't allowed a point in the last eight quarters. The Broncos might just be playing the best 4A football east of the San Jancinto now. #4 Central - Two losses in the last two weeks have exposed weaknesses in the Jaguars. #5 Goose Creek Memorial - Except for the Dayton game, Memorial has played very good this season. #6 Vidor - The running power game is exposed in three district losses. If the Pirates can't find a passing game, life will be tough in Huntsville this Saturday when they play the Broncos. #7 Barbers Hill - Without turnovers this is a good team, against top notch 4A teams the Eagles might just be 1/4 step slower. The Eagles will need a great all around effort against #1 PN-G this Friday. #8 Nederland - Given up for dead four weeks ago, the Bulldogs watched the entire Rocky movie collection and storm back into the playoffs. 19. That ranking does you nothing unless you take care of business each week. If I were PN-G I wouldn't even look at them... Just keep winning ONE WEEK AT A TIME!!! This week PN-G needs to shoot down the Eagles, then you concentrate on the next game.
 20. 21.
Nederland ended up at #3 and Vidor at #4 but good try
Thanks for the correction!!!! Until you get started doing a web page like this, you really don't know how much it takes to edit the material... Congrats to the Bulldogs... Four weeks ago I really didn't see Nederland in the playoffs. What a come back!
 22.
That's what i've been trying to tell you.  Those last 14 years mean nothing.  Why do you Dayton fans keep bringing up the past?   You guys are 2 seeds THIS year.            ??? :P ;)
Actually Dayton was 2nd place with 1 loss Vidor was THIRD place with three losses and nearly missed the playoffs. Come Friday night... Vidor is going to feel the pain of being stampeded by Broncos.
 23.
Here is the way I see it: Dayton vs Vidor - Dayton is firing on all cylinders right now. they will move the ball and play some good D. vidor is one dimensional. OK D but I don't think they can stop those Broncos right now. Crosby vs Nederland - Crosby moves the ball on off, does not turn the ball over much and has a D that will knock the crap out of you. When the game is on the line they will make plays. Nederland has a inexperienced QB, an RB, a line that needs some work and a D that is decent at best. PNG vs Barbers Hill - PNG is on a roll but may have some hangovers from the big game last week and may walk into the game thinking they beat them once, they can do it again. NOT GOOD! Different Barbers Hill team. They still are tough on D and O.   Barbers Hill can move the ball on offense but their D needs some work.  Could be a close one if PNG does not jump on them. Central vs GCM - Cental could so two things: be quit and let GCM hang with them or be pissed for blowing last weeks game and come out and destroy them. Their D has to stop the big play. GCM has to believe and hang with them. Create the big play, and move the ball. Could be a close one or major blow out. For all you people releying on the non district scores from the beginning of the season, remember these are total different teams now.  Right now everyone is undefeated and the loser rolls out the basketballs!!!!
Good summary... The #1 and #2 seeds from each district should be favored to win (but you never know until the game is played). Weather this weekend should be AWEsome!

Dayton's last ten years crushes what has happened at PN-G (and I am a PN-G grad). By the way... I still think 20-4A is celebrating the day Dayton was moved out of that district. After obliterating every single team in that district for two years (except for one hiccup against Lumberton) (no other team has come close to the points allowed vs points scored) the people in the Triangle where shouting, FINALLY!  One of our own teams can win district again.
Dayton can't even win their own district.  They lost to a team that PNG put a beat down on.(and lost bad).   If this thing is not 2-2, it will be in 20 4A's favor.  No way 19-4A takes more than 2.
I will match up Dayton's last ten years against any body in the Triangle...
