Friendswood continues to win the battle but lose the war when it comes to the Broncos. Oh by the way (friendswood fan)... Go by the Dayton Jack in the Box to see some pictures of the Broncos in the STATE TITLE game from last year. Unfortunate for you that you don't have any mustang pictures from a title game. As far as the game goes.... Two very good teams. HATS OFF TO THE MUSTANG QB!!!! The difference in the game was at least half a dozen or more 3rd and longs converted by the QB with either his legs are very accurate passes. one more thing.... My highlights are now going to be posted on ABC 13's site. The Dayton freshmen bunch might just might be the best so far.... Lots of depth, speed and size. They may not have the super duper all stars (very close though) but the future of Bronco football is AWEsome for the next few years.

West Brook stays king of the hill in BISD while Central must stay content with being the brides maid. Look for the tribes new chief to go to 2 and 0. Cherokee will be played all night as the Indians stymie the Cougars. The Indians go into week three undefeated while the Cougars have to be thinking if they can turn things around. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION PN-G 31 CROSBY 14 Lumberton vs Barbers Hill This should be a great game, but look for 20-4A to get the upperhand this week as both PN-G and Lumberton will outscore the 19-4A opponents. Look for the Patriots to score in the 4th quarter to go ahead and then the defense will stop Pearland on downs. Look for the Jackets to fall prey yet again in their second game. The Yellow Jackets will get shut out in Montgomery. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION Montgomery 35 Galena Park 0 Magnolia vs Kingwood Park Last week King Wood Park got their first victory of the 2009 season, but this week they will not get their second. Look for Magnolia's offensive and defensive lines to control the game. The game will be low scoring. A Kingwood Park at the end of the game prevents a shut out. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION MAGNOLIA 14 KINGWOOD PARK 7 West Orange-Stark vs LC-M The Bears are going to be glad their is such a word as compassion. Look for the Mustangs to have their day in this one, as the second and third string play in the second half. The Mustangs start off 2009 with a huge bang scoring 30 plus points in both victories. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION WEST ORANGE-STARK 41 LC-M 7 Vidor vs Houston St Thomas The Pirates will travel back down I-10 as undefeated in 2009. Interesting... Look at the regional rankings.... Houston area doesn't include Dayton, but Dayton is included in the SE Texas region. The Beaumont paper wouldn't include Dayton in its ranking (likely so because Dayton is closer to Houston and no businesses from Dayton advertise in the Beaumont paper) and the Chronicle does include Dayton in it's ranking... It is like Dayton doesn't belong anywheres.... Would be interesting to see how high up the scale Dayton would be ranked in the Houston area. Any ways...
