Has taken a long time... 4th quarter video the tape is glitched... Wonder if the lightning has something to do with it... There will be way more than 38 points scored in this game. Don't know how many points Friendswood scored, but look for the Broncos to be in the 30's. I would say the over under for points has to be at least in the 60's. Should be an exciting game this Friday!

Bay City has a very quick team, but they just couldn't catch Peyton when he got to the outside. Two very impressive long TD runs. A lot of fumbles for the Broncos, but we still posted 42 points! Gamal and Jakari (both sophompores) will be AWEsome over the next couple of years! Just curious.... Last night with 1:05 left in the game, the rain started back up and a large lightning bolt hit north of the stadium. The official called the game. What are the rules for the official calling the game (how much time can be left on the clock before he is allowed to officially call the game?) Dayton was in the victory formation and a couple of more snaps and the game was over, but what if it was a 56 to 0 game in the middle of the 3rd quarter and a huge storm comes in. Can the official call the game if the storm (with lightning) doesn't let up?

If you had an out of towner coming in for a visit and they wanted to know what Friday Night Lights is all about.... The view from the visiting side of the Reservation is simply amazing, especially now since they have made the home side even larger. Can't wait until the 11th when I get to see a game at the Reservation. The game time atmospher simply blows away anything around here. Just curious..... Do they still have the visiting team dress out in the gym. Had several people tell me the walk into the stadium from the gym before the game is one of the most intimidating in the area.

Usually.... If you get there about 30 minutes before the game, there is plenty of parallel parking along the streets behind the visiting stands. Toups Graphics advice.... Parallel park with the car facing away from the stadium. After the game drive foward and then make a left hand turn. When you get to Grigsby, turn right, go down to the turn and make a right hand turn on Spur 136. Take Spur 136 to Twin City HWY and you get out with little if any traffic. BH, might be quicker to take HWY 73 into mid county, no lights and you don't have the traffic like you do on HWY 365.

Regarding how far Bay City is away? IF..... U can somehow get squirley and go through Houston on Friday evening with little traffic (not trying to be sarcastic :-) ) You can get there in less than 2 hours. Are now posted... [Hidden Content] For the Lumberton and Dayton fans who couldn't make it.... THE WHOLE GAME IS POSTED! The game appears in quarters, each quarter is about 4 to 5 minutes long. The video is pretty grainy due to the fact that it is being converted from HD and being rescaled to a small frame size. Learning how to do all the HD video so hopefully the quality of the posted videos will improve. Notable highlights.... On Dayton's first touchdown (TD by #7) Check out the two massive blocks to on the right side of the video as #7 crosses the line of scrimmage. Text book blocking. Best play of the game is in the 4th quarter, AWEsome catch for a 1st down by a Raider. GREAT JOB! Lots of unforced errors by the Broncos were the big key in the game, got to give credit to the Raiders for converting the turnovers into points. MVP player... #64 for Dayton had a HUGE game! I wouldn't want to be the offensive linemen responsible for blocking Dayton's defensive front. For Lumberton... Two great QB's.... Wondering if there is a QB controversy? And the wide reciever who caught the deflected TD pass and the 1st down completion. GREAT JOB BRONCOS AND RAIDERS! Good luck this week!

Got to make a trip to Houston this afternoon, but tomorrow afternoon I will post highlights of the scrimmage. Congrats to both teams on a great scrimmage. The kid from Lumberton who made the last pass reception in the 4th quarter for a first down, WOW! An amazing grab right off the turf. Too many fumbles and mistakes by the Broncos last night and the Raiders put the ball into the endzone when they had to. Good luck to both teams this year. Maybe..... Both teams can meet in the playoffs this season. The Broncos kept their end of the bargain the last two seasons, hopefully the Raiders will do what it takes too.
