The Dayton Chamber of Commerce has rented two Charter buses with the seating capacity of 110 people for the Dayton Bronco Game Saturday December 13th. Tickets are being sold at Thrif-Tee Food Center in Dayton and in Liberty or at the Dayton Chamber office at 107 W. Clayton beginning at noon today (December 8th) through Thursday at 5:00pm. These are first come first served so get your tickets early before we sell out. The ticket price per person is $30 and that included a round trip pass to and from the game and food at the tailgate party when you get there. Bring your lawn chair if you want to sit down before the game. The bus will pull out PROMPTLY at 9:00am from the Woodrow Wilson Junior High School for Georgetown High School. DAYTON VS KERRVILLE TIVY STATE SEMI-FINAL GEORGETOWN ISD STADIUM GEORGETOWN, TX SATURDAY 2 PM Reasons for Dayton fans to be feeling good. 1. This year's Broncos team is not dependent on the pass. Tivy must stop the running tandem of Cameron and Cody to slow down the Dayton offensive machine. Doing this frees up AJ in the secondary. 2. Dayton's offensive line has dominated all the opposition. 3. The Bronco defense has been spectacular in the red zone and on short down conversions. 4. Tivy has put up offensive stats, but they have been scored on. This should be one wail of a game. Look for both defenses to at least slow each others offenses down. Toups Graphics foresees a game with both teams scoring between three and five touchdowns. The weather shouldn't be a factor on Saturday. When the playoffs began, not many people had the Jaguars the last team remaing from 20-4A. GREAT SEASON JAGS! Friendswood is a very good team and to lose by only a points is tough, but you went out champs. At least you will be winning basketball games next weekend while the Mustangs enter the glue factory after getting "pasted" by Lake Travis. Way to represent SETX!

I don't think Friendswood is as good as the Dayton team that was on the same field with Lake Travis last year. Lake Travis looks as good as or even better than last year's squad. Looks like the Mustangs might be headed to the glue factory after this game. Lake Travis could take this one by at least five touchdowns.

Bad news for Kerrville, if they can't find a way to shut down both Cody and AJ. Cody just keeps getting better every week. He must have gained a 1/2 step on his speed over the week. He had some amazing runs against Brenham. If Kerrville puts more defensive people in the box to shut down the run, then AJ gets involved. Double edge sword for the Kerrville defense. Hopefully the Dayton defense can slow down the Tivy offense. Should be an amazing game!

Central will kick off first at 6 PM against a poweful Angleton team while Dayton will kick off 1 hour later in the Woodlands as they battle Terry from Lamar Consolidated ISD. This game will hinge on the Terry front four defensive linemen. If they can't create havoc in the Bronco offensive scheme, it will be a long night for the Terry Rangers. Terry doesn't have the offense to win in a shoot out against a Bronco team which has scored at least six touchdowns a game after the season restarted from IKE. Meanwhile the Bronco defense is coming off a second half performance in which they shut down a powerful Elgin running machine to less than 30 total yards. The stars seem to be aligned for another Bronco stampede. Look for the Broncos to go up by two quick touchdowns and not look back. Dayton wins this one big with even the JV offense scoring a fourth quarter touchdown. The Jaguar defense won't be able to slow down Angleton while they have trouble getting their offense going. Angleton finishes off the Jaguars in the third quarter with a score from a turnover and score another security touchdown in the fourth quarter.
