Now I'm confused. Are middle school and freshman records significant or not? Unlike other schools... Dayton doesn't squander talent. If I were a competing 4A school going against Dayton in the upcoming years... The 9th grade and 8th grade records are BAD NEWS for the opposition. The 8th graders have tons of speed and size. ps.... They have played two basketball games and have blown out both their opponents

You obviously have never seen a PN-G game in the Astrodome in front of over 30,000. PN-G football "historically speaking" is one of the top 10 programs in the whole state of Texas. Live right now is AWEsome as a Dayton fan, Dayton fans continue to pack the stands for their games, but they have a following of about 5,000. That is nowhere nears what PN-G would bring to the games. I'll be there Saturday night!!!!!!!!!!!! As a PN-G grad... I am glad I am a teacher in Dayton... Excellent community, great kids... Life is good... THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT PN-G! Thanks for the directions.... Was curious as to what exits to take... There is not a direct exit off I-45 to the stadium... You have to stay on the feeder road for a while if you are coming in from the south, and if you are coming in from the north you have to make a u turn. GO BRONCOS!!!

Coming to Dayton in 1992.... I have seen Coach Stewart rebuild the entire football program from junior high up. He is building a program that is developing a tradition of winning that will be here long after he finishes his career. The memories the elementary kids at Dayton are making watching their school play in the playoffs builds the tradition that exists in very few schools. These kids are wanting to be just like AJ and Cody. Their football heroes are from their high school instead of a college or NFL team. Stewart has surrounded himself with quality coaches who get the very best out of the athletes, he has the community and school board support. I am very glad to have a son that is being influenced by the coaches he has assembled around him. Back to the game.... If the Broncos can start off the game like they did in the second half against Elgin, Terry doesn't have a chance. Terry won't be able to win a shoot out against the Broncos. The key to the game will be their four defensive linemen. If they can't create havoc they won't be able to stop the Bronco offense. I got a real good feeling about Saturday for the Broncos.

Whoever the greatest one was, or is.... We have the next few weeks to watch two of the all time greatest athletes to play for the Dayton Broncos. We need to relish these weeks and do our best as fans to support the team. As far as I have seen..... Cody is the best all around person to play the QB position. He is a great student, leader, and an exceptional athlete, and he is paired up with probably the best all around athlete that Coach Stewart has coached (AJ). Hopefully and prayfully they will have four more Bronco football wins to finish their high school careers.

As PNG grad, I got a real bad feeling abou this whole thing. It might very well get a whole lot worse before it gets better. PNG is getting rid of a very good coach.

The Bronco stampede continued in a big way last week as the Elgin Wild Cats were declawed, deskined, then neutered in the second half. Dayton now advances to play a defensive orientated Terry team from Lamar Consolidated ISD. Dayton has scored over six touchdowns in every game after IKE. To make a deep run in the playoffs it really helps if you have at least one high caliber athlete that will have a future playing on Saturdays after high school. Coaching and school pride can go a long way (PN-G's playoff runs in the 70's), but if you don't have the talent you can make the playoffs, but going all the way is unlikely. Dayton is very fortunate this year to have two players that will be playing on Saturday's. The results are obvious. It is simply amazing the talent that keeps on coming up in this small town. The 8th grade bunch at Dayton may be one of the best yet.

For those not reading the Dayton threads.... During the last Bronco game I didn't get out of the way quick enough and was "trucked" by one of the Broncos. LMAO Dayton kicking a field goal, dayton hasn't even attempted a field goal in the last two years, that i can remember DAYTON NEEDS ANOTHER CARRANCO!!! Dayton will NOT end up with 17, 24, 31, 38, or 45 points.... Stewart will go for it close to the goal line rather than kick a field goal.

They had the Bronco offense stymied and managed two touchdowns to have a tie at 14 to 14. Then the Bronco's had a "little chat" at halftime with their head coach. The result was an unbelievably impressive 3rd quarter. In a mere 9 minutes Dayton put up 21 points on the board and ran away with the game. After kicking off to the Wild Cats, Elgin fumbled the ball on the first play, two plays later Cody ran in it for a touchdown and the rout was on. The Broncos defense totally shut down the Wild Cats while the Dayton offense scored at will. The Broncos were crushing the competition all over the field, even your humble camera man got trucked. Toups Graphics survives to live another day. A great 3rd quarter performance almost results in a perfect prediction. Next up for the Broncos will be the winner of the Terry vs Sharpstown game. the woodlands. I was told last night it will be at Conroe (on Saturday) The Baytown paper has us playing at the Woodlands. I guess it will be official tonight.

If I were Credeur, NO WAY do I make this move... He is a legacy in Lumberton, at LaMarque he would be on a two or three year noose if they don't turn around the program. Plus.... (taking away the parents from the STFL) the future looks bright in Lumberton. Lots of good talent building into the program.

Border line late hit out of bounds, the defender pushed him right into me.... Should have got out of the way. I am just glad nobody was hurt (especially me).
