Get on HWY 365 Go to Nome When you get to HWY 90 turn left (west) Go through Liberty and stay on 90. When you get to Dayton turn left at the third red light (there is a Walgreens on the left and a McDonalds on the right) The stadium will be on your right behind Nottingham Middle School. Then park in front of the school (if your lucky) or in the neighborhood. Nederland will be seating on the side of the stadium closest to HWY 90 (the smaller side).

#'s dont lie... The Bulldogs have been scored on in bunches in the last three weeks. Defense dominates in the playoffs. Nederland will have to outscore King to win. Overall, I think King has the better team, but on any given day any team can win. As previously stated, leave it to Halliburton to make the Bulldogs look like world beaters. off subject... Nice to see Bronco Stadium is getting a 4A playoff game. I hope both teams enjoy the facilities... Anybody from Dayton know if there are plans to put a new field house in the cleared land on the west end of the stadium? Also.... Bulldog fans you are lucky tonight... If the cold front blows through, the stands you are seating in face the south, so the wind will be at your backs, might make it a little more bearable. GOOD LUCK TO BOTH TEAMS AND HAVE A SAFE ROUND TRIP TO DAYTON AND BACK!

Agree George... We will all find out later this weekend, but 19-4A is improved since Dayton was last in it. 19-4A has had the "privilige" of playing against Dayton and when you play against good teams it only makes you better. Just my gut feeling, but Lumberton and Dayton should have easy wins, Central and North Forest is a toss up, and CE King probably has a slight edge over Nederland, due to a better defense. That being said, GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE TEAMS! Hopefully we get a team from other district out of the region in both divisions. -

Coop... If you don't mind... What will the Saturday night temps be??? Looks like the temperature will fall quicker Saturday night than Friday night? Will it be in the 40's by 10 PM??? For Central fans... The north side of Stalworth Stadium is COMPLETELY open to the north... If the north wind is blowing that hard, it will be miserable. Also... I wouldn't want to be the team going north in the 4th quarter. -
Central vs. North Forest 11/15 PLAYOFFS
PURPLE 4EVER replied to BMTSoulja1's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
They have a lot of skilled talented kids and size. If North Forest is on their A game, Central will be posting on the basketball thread next week. -
Looks like Saturday night could be a cold one... Could we have kick off forecast for Friday and Saturday's games, and for the Saturday game, how fast will the temperature drop after sunset... Looks like the high on Saturday is only in the low 60's. Around 9:30 PM the temp could be in the 40's.... And... Will there be any wind at the games??

GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE TEAMS!!! Lumberton and Dayton should roll, but the Nederland vs King game and especially the North Forest vs Central game will be close. Central better bring their A game. North Forest has some really good athletes in many positions. Just writing what my gut instincts tell me, (and it is usually right 3 out of 4 times). -
WHO, WHO, WHO WILL WIN THIS WEEKEND???? THIS WEEKS TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTIONS The road to the state championship begins this weekend. Each 4A district has placed their top four teams into the playoff system. The team that is fortunate enough to start on a six game winning streak this week will be the 4A state champion. This week 19-4A pairs up agains 20-4A. In the past the Beaumont area district has owned the first round. This year the four 19-4A teams look to make some headway into the playoffs. Will their be another 20-4A sweep or will 19-4A knock out some of it's competition? If my percentages hold true, I will accurately pick three of the four games. Can Toups Graphics go 100% for the second time this season? Read below... DAYTON VS LIVINGSTON SATURDAY 7 PM CONROE MOOREHEAD STADIUM After the second quarter the returning Livingston Lions might be having some powerful flashbacks of being taken to the woodshed by the Broncos. Dayton has been improving each week and look for the improvement to continue. The Cody to AJ aerial assault will continue while the Dayton defense plugs up all running lanes. The Bronco's will stampede into the 2nd round of the playoffs. Dayton wins by at least five touchdowns and will also win their ninth game of the season. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION DAYTON 48 LIVINGSTON 7 LUMBERTON VS CROSBY FRIDAY 7:30 PM HUMBLE Last year Crosby got stampeded by the Broncos, this year the Cougars are tied down to the HWY 90 RR Track and are about to be steamrolled into submission by the mighty L-Train. Look for Lumberton to roll up close to 400 yards of rushing while making the Cougars go 1 and out yet again in the playoffs. The L-Train wins big in this one. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION LUMBERTON 35 CROSBY 14 CE KING VS NEDERLAND FRIDAY 7:30 PM DAYTON BRONCO STADIUM The Bulldogs return to postseason play after having their streak snapped last year. Unfortunately for the Bulldogs they are the fourth place team and their defense routinely gives up huge yardage. Look for the CE King running machine to ground out yardage against the Bulldog defensive squad. CE King gets enough touchdowns to outscore the Bulldogs. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION CE KING 38 NEDERLAND 24 THE TOUPS GRAPHICS DON'T MISS SPECIAL PLAYOFF GAME OF THE WEEK... Has your team been ousted from the playoff's. This playoff game will probably be the best of the four games. For Beaumont fans this is the second game of a double header that features West Brook playing first. NORTH FOREST VS CENTRAL SATURDAY 6 PM BAYTOWN STALLWORTH STADIUM WHAT AN AWESOME GAME THIS SHOULD BE! If your team has been already eliminated, this is the game to watch. North Forest has tremendous size and speed and despite three district losses they had the Broncos on the ropes going into the 4th quarter. Toups Graphics predicts this game will be close until the 4th quarter. North Forest will make a couple of big plays and pull away. Late 4th quarter turnovers doom the Jaguars. Toups Graphics is predicting after this week, Lumberton will be the only 20-4A team left playing. TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION NORTH FOREST 28 CENTRAL 21 THIS WEEK TOUPS GRAPHICS WAS 7 AND 1 - 87.5% TOUPS GRAPHICS 2008 PREDICTION RECORD IS 46 AND 15 (75.4%) TOUPS GRAPHICS 2007 PREDICTION RECORD WAS 47 AND 15 =76%

yeah but what about Dayton's Pass Defense??? Friendswood and Lake Travis killed yall on the pass BH showed signs of beating yall with the pass earlier in the 1st Half. Watch out for a upset in the first round against Livingston ;) Barbers Hill had 133 passing yards and 1 TD pass against Dayton. Carmona threw for 1,621 yards this season and 15 TDs. Daytons defense has had 5 TD passes scored on them this season, 1 in district play. 4 of those were from the Friendswood game, by the way our senior starting safety was out with an injury that game. Karam has 31 passing TD's this season, it is no insult or point of embarassment for a short handed defense to hold karam to 4 TD passes. Key word District play.. Dayton's district is very weak. Practically all districts in this region are weak. 19-4A stands a very good chance of winning three of the four playoff games this week against 20-4A.

As long as we are "making these things up".... I also "heard"... For the good sportmanship gift ceremony at the beginning of the game, Dayton is going to give Livingston a team set of basketballs. GEEZZZZZZ Dayton will be ready to play Saturday. -
Probably the JV QB... Forgot his name... Look for one of the 8th graders to rise up the ranks fast in two years. Dayton might have a lot of 10th graders on varsity in a couple of years.
-
I would say Central's front seven were much faster. When they put 9 in the box to stop the run they probably had 9 guys in the box that ran a 4.8 or better. That is fast and they still put 30 on Central. You neutralize speed by running right at someone. Ask CE King what happens when you run right at the Bronco defense... Three plays and a punt
-
Just looking at my videos... The front seven defensive positions are at the same level or even better than last years squad. Will be interesting to see if they can shut down Livingston like we did Texas City and the Lions last year. We even did a very good job against the Waller squad. Livingston's O-Line might just be overwhelmed at the overall speed from the front seven of Dayton. The big question mark is the secondary... To me last years squad had an edge over this year's squad, but looking at the teams in Region III, not many pass oriented offenses. Can't wait till Saturday. Looked like the Broncos had a really good practice yesterday evening.

19-4A vs.20-4A round #1 Predictions
PURPLE 4EVER replied to cowgirl 59's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
"Lumberton - same - need to play this one @ Rice or Reliant Lum will bring alot of 20-4A support, big crowd for this one" Stallworth Stadium would easily hold the crowd. Both sides hold around 8,000, the stadium holds around 16,000 Believe it or not... Dayton still hasn't played in front of over 11,000. Galena Park's stadium only holds less than 10,000 and so does the Berry Center. The Berry Center looks like it would hold more, but the stadium only goes from the 20 to the 20. The attendance at the Waller game last year was around 10,000. I don't think there was over 10,000 at the Lake Travis game. Of the topic here.... But... Does any one from Dayton know the population of the "school district" area? The town of Dayton is a little less than 6,000, but over half of the kids in the district live outside the city limits. I would guess the population of the district would be around 11,000 to 12,000. Any confirmation... -

I was at the 1977 game also. 11 years old. My dad just got a CB for the car. Our call name was the 4 Aces From Port Neches That was the first and last time I will go to Texas Stadium. DUMBEST DESIGNED STADIUM IN THE WORLD! Why you wouldn't go all out and cover the thing is beyond belief! It is a heat furnace in the summer and a freezer in the winter. I can't believe the new stadium also has a hole in the roof. Of course looking at the owner, it doesn't surprise me that much. -

THE TOUPS GRAPHICS DON'T MISS SPECIAL PLAYOFF GAME OF THE WEEK... Has your team been ousted from the playoff's. This playoff game will probably be the best of the four games. For Beaumont fans this is the second game of a double header that features West Brook playing first. NORTH FOREST VS CENTRAL SATURDAY 6 PM BAYTOWN STALLWORTH STADIUM North Forest gave Dayton it's best game in district, but lost to CE King and Crosby. Will the North Forest Bulldogs be able to limit their mistakes and get their veer offense going. The Central Jaguars enter the playoffs a hungry team especially after their controversial visit to the Reservation where they scalped the Indians. The winner of this game is going to be the team that can run the ball between the tackles. Will the Jaguars or Bulldogs be able to control the trenches and dominate. Who will win Saturday at Stallworth? Check back Thursday for.... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION -
DAYTON VS LIVINGSTON SATURDAY 7 PM CONROE MOOREHEAD STADIUM After their setback to Lumberton, Livingston hasn't lost. Livinston roared through 20-4A and is now back in the playoffs. The Lions travel to Conroe this Saturday a very confident team after having received their badge of courage for being district co-champs. The Lions will face the Dayton Broncos who have steadily improved each and every game since their come from behind win against North Forest. Last week Dayton held it's opponent to only 39 yards of offense, very impressive. The Broncos feature a high octane offense which routinely goes over 500 yards each game while the Lions have a more power running game. The key to victory will be the defense. Will the Lions be able to stop the Bronco's offensive machine and will Livingston be able to march the ball up the field against a team that has not been scored on in seven quarters? Who will win on Saturday? Check back Thursday for.... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION

Lumberton vs. Crosby Playoff Predictions?
PURPLE 4EVER replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
LUMBERTON VS CROSBY FRIDAY 7:30 PM HUMBLE The L-Train is back! Except for getting plundered by the Pirates, the Raiders have been perfect this season. The Raiders feature a more power runnng game that has not been stopped this season and a stingy defense that has limited the scoring of it's opponents enough to keep producing W's. Crosby got third place in 19-4A, but was beat badly by #1 Dayton and #2 CE King. Will the Cougars be able to derail the Lumberton running machine or will the L-Train decapitate the Cougars? Who will win Friday night in Humble? Check back Thursday for.... TOUPS GRAPHICS FEARLESS PREDICTION
