Lumberton is the only team to beat Dayton over the two years Dayton was in the Beaumont district. That stung, but Dayton moved on. What bugs most football followers in Dayton is what happened during the last week of the season (regarding how the playoff seedings would occur) Not going into specifics, because this thread will be terminated, but what happened was just plain wrong.

In 20-4A the game of the week will be Lumberton at Nederland. The four playoff teams from each district are set, but the seeding is not. In 19-4A Dayton is District Champs while in 20-4A Livingston and Lumberton are tied with one loss each, if both teams when they will be cochamps. GO SUPPORT YOU LOCAL TEAM! Dayton's defense is turning out stellar performances while Cody Green is now calling his shots while throwing TD passes to AJ. This game will be a tune up game for the potent Bronco's, the question is will the Broncos pull up the 8th grade Ponies to finish up the game? How big will the Broncos win by on Friday? This Dayton team is getting close to playing as good as the Dayton team that clocked Nederland last year 63-0. Nederland should thank there lucky stars they are in division I and won't have to get humiliated again in a Bronco stampede. Hmmmmm, reading this post tells me then that L-Town could maybe beat this team by 2 points then? I mean your getting "close to playing as good". We beat the Nederland team 63-0, what was the Lumberton Nederland score?? Also... The PN-G team that derailed the L-Train. Ask PN-G what happened to them after their visit to Bronco stadium. If Nederland can win... TICK TOCK TICK TOCK!!!

Ask yourself.... How many Liberty County stores have advertisements in the Beaumont area papers??? The papers can only print so much, they have to take care of their "own".

If Lumberton gets so lucky to play Dayton in Bi-District, we will make a run on the $0.25 bubble gum machines and get all the plastic rings, they will serve as parting gifts as the Raiders leave the train wreck provided by a Bronco stampede!

AND!!! ALWAYS BELIEVE!!! GO BULLDOGS GO!!! This Bronco fan will wear black and gold on Thursday to show support for the dogs (against my religion to wear black and gold on Friday's).

GO BULLDOGS!!!! As of this writing (around 9 AM on Monday November 3) It is 986,400 seconds until 7 PM Friday November 14 (the likely time the Bi District game starts) If the Bulldogs can do it... Lumberton might have that many seconds until basketball practices become a reality! TICK TOCK TICK TOCK!!!!

The Broncos are anxiously awaiting their first round opponent... Word is..... Dayton may pull up some of it's 8th grade Ponies to finish the bi-district game off.

lets not have dillusions of grandeur!! As long as there is a 5A Houston area school in the playoffs, Dayton will be an afterthought.

WAY TO GO BH34!!! The talent level at Barbers Hill has dropped off, just what I have seen videoing the junior high games every year. The 8th and 9th graders hold promise. Like you said, to take your game to the next level, football needs to be a 12 month commitment. The kids in Dayton lift weights all summer and push themselves to be the best they can (this attitude comes down from Coach Stewart).

There were many Bronco fans "elated" that we got moved out of 20-4A. Just ask yourself, how many times do you see the Houston media cover a district game in Dayton. NEVER! At least when we were in 20-4A there was ALWAYS at least one TV station from the Beaumont area in Dayton (even though we couldn't see the broadcast). It is nice to only have 30 minute at most trips in district, but 19-4A hasn't won a playoff game in years. CE King was undefeated in district but only had about 800 people in the stands. A road trip in 20-4A means you will play in front of 5,000 people (at least) on the home side. Even a road trip to LC-M, the fans would still pack the stands. A home varsity football game in the Golden Triangle isn't just a game, it is a community event. NO OTHER DISTRICT can match the Friday Night atmosphere in this area like 20-4A. The communities live and die watching high school football (even to the point of adults fighting in the stands when arguing about the coaching) Beaumont does it's best to bring coverage to Liberty County, although we are in the Houston coverage area. This type of website is one example. Dayton has one of the best teams in this part of the state and the Beaumont media know this, they are doing their best, considering that Dayton isn't in their coverage area. Dayton may very well be the last team playing football east of Houston, you won't see a houston TV Station covering Dayton for at least three rounds. It's unfortunate for the kids, but that is the way it is. If you want more media coverage we have to wait till the Houston sprawl comes this way.

Lake Travis (thankfully) will be Division I. There will not be a chance of Dayton playing them again.

AJ had a great run after the catch. You know things are good when you have more defensive highlights than offensive. The Broncos are really playing great football now, peaking at the right time. Dayton just played it's best defensive game since last year. I don't see a running team beating this Dayton team now. No way will a running team be able to outscore the Cody / AJ show. Looking at the 4A division 2 teams in the Houston Region, all of them will have a tough time against Dayton. Could be a very exciting November in Dayton! Paint the town PURPLE! The Bronco Stampede continues in the playoffs for the 14th year in a row!

Dayton might just score over half a hundred points the first time this year. Look for Jakari (#22) to get two or three 2nd half TD's. Dayton's 2nd string might get two or three 2nd half TD's in this game.

Hopefully my "predictions" and writings make each Friday kind of fun.
