This game between Barbers Hill and Crosby is most likely the championship game of the "everybody else". Crosby won big last week over North Forest and gets to stay at home and play Barbers Hill which spent it's last Friday trying to chase Broncos all over the field. Just curious... Is the South Park Stadium still there?

PN-G with all it's troubles is still ahead of LaMarque??? How far down the hill has LaMarque's program slid over the last couple of years.

I wish I was old enough to remember watching a Lincoln game with Little Joe running. Heard he was a special sight to watch. As far as all time games, it still probably has to date back to the late 60's and early 70's when this area was putting out talent that made it all the way to the NFL. I was born in 1966, so I really don't know of any important games, but I remember my dad telling me about them. The streak PN-G had from 1974 to 1977 without losing one district game is amazing. For Vidor fans, Vidor broke the PN-G streak in 1978, that game must have been something to see.

The Dayton fans sure do miss the away game environments in 20-4A. Although each trip was over an hour, the home stands were always packed. 20-4A is what Friday night Lights is all about. Each home game is a special night for the communities, the fans, and especially the players. Another way to pick the best fans is to think of where you would love to play an away game at. NOTHING comes close to a PN-G game, especially now with the home side seating around 8,000. I would say Vidor would be #2.

BH may not win another game this year. Having seen both teams, Crosby should win this, but you never know till you play the game.

Mathematically speaking, if PNG wins out, and Central & Lumberton lose all 3 remaining games, PNG would make it in as the 4th team behind Ned, Liv, & Vidor. PNG will lose all tie breakers with Ned, Liv & Vidor. So, your only chance is to beat Lumberton & Central and hope they lose out. Your more likely to find gas for 1.09 a gallon. ActuallyLumberton would only need to lose to Nederland and PNG, & Central would only need to lose to PNG & Liv, and PNG would need to beat Central Ozen & Lumberton. Then PNG would be the 4th team behind Liv Ned & Vidor. They would win both tie breakers with Lumberton and Central based on the fact that they would have beaten them head to head. NEVER GIVE UP! Win the remaining games and who knows... From experience... The rules for tie breakers might change due to a "special meeting"

Fortunately for 20-4A they are paired up with 19-4A. Looks like CE King and Dayton will eliminate their opponents, but the remaining two games should be close. Of the eight teams making the playoffs in both districts, CE King and Dayton are leaps and bounds better than the rest, and in my opinion Lumberton might be the third best of the eight. The next three weeks in 20-4A will be very exciting for all SETX fans. Will be interesting to see who gets the four spots.

Ever since I moved to Dayton I have always wondered why Dayton didn't play Barbers Hill... Tonight it HAPPENS! Can't wait to see the Broncos stampeding over the Eagles... Meanwhile... Remember... The sod at Zaharias is kept high and it tears off easily. Alot more rain today and the field may not be able to dry off. Could be a mud bath Friday. If it is wet, this is one of the worst fields in the Beaumont area for turning muddy.

Haven't checked lately, but on Tuesday there was supposed to be a cold front come through tonight or tomorrow morning. Will the north wind be a factor on Friday, or will it just light winds? Thanks.
