Hence my statement about history and the stakes in the game. Ned has played Vidor 67 times and 56-10-1 isn't much of a rivalry. Not to mention that most of those games weren't for a playoff spot or a DC.
I think some of a rivalry involves the stakes in the game, such as PNG and PAM playing for the DC this year. Also the amount of dislike between the two towns and also the history, especially the amount of close games.
Pretty much, and we have been in that situation before. I would rather have a hand in our own playoff destiny than rely on others. But PNG is a few weeks away and won't matter if we don't beat Ozen up next.
Can't take a play off against this team , they have speed just like Central. Pretty sure Neumann has them in playoff mode from now going forward since they can't afford a loss the rest of the way. I wish this wasn't a 2 o'clock game.
Good game Dogs , need to tighten up the pass defense and the penalties if they are going to keep this going. Good game Jags too, you took it down to the last play of the game.
Livingston still has Lee, Vidor, PAM ,Central and Ozen left on the schedule. They will probably go 2-3 in that stretch and could very well go 1-4 so the Dogs are still in it. This season will probably come down to MCM.
