Crosby seems to be the only fans really concerned about rankings, even when they don't live up to them. If Dayton and Ned just do their thing and make a run in the playoffs the rankings don't matter.

I never said I was against new schools, I am not. I went through those schools and also worked for the ISD for a few years. I know what condition they are in. But the fact of the matter is, it doesn't seem to affect the students grades judging by how the ISD performs in relation to the rest of the state. Now as far as the kids (and teachers) health goes, that is a different matter. I have been in all the crawl spaces and back areas of the schools that the public never sees. There is no more asbestos in the schools, but the mold, mildew and water damage is definitely not helping people that have to breathe that crap all day. The current bond that was passed a couple of years ago helped with some of that but its time for new schools. But that wont happen until the "old heads" as you say either move off, die off or change their minds. I will say that the bond issues for new schools that were part of the 2012 vote were much closer than previous years, indicating that maybe the tide is turning.

Same as winning games, new schools don't help kids get good grades. Ned does pretty well with that as well.

They must of used up the full allotment after Ridge Point got through with them. Might need to stock up some more for Manvel and maybe Dayton .

Arrogance usually backfires, (you would know) every team in the district is gunning for PAM more than ever after those comments. They wont get through district unscathed.

I have heard that many times when a team drops. Most of the time it doesn't work out the way they thought.

No, I was making the point that you need both coaches and players to make it all the way. I seriously doubt Neumann called the coach and said that. As far as whippings , as I said in a post somewhere else, most of your wins were by a TD or less with the exception of the 56 point game. Oh, and I guess Ned was better than the "twins" on that 2 TD win a couple of years ago. You don't want to go back to 2000 where the 1-6 district and 1-9 overall records are. I know you would prefer to not bring that up because it drops your average. And also where Ned has a couple of more 3 deep and a 4 deep playoff run because it doesn't fit the narrative. The fact of the matter is, Crosby hasn't done anything more than most of the teams in the area. One deep run and then out in the second round the next year after being ranked high and expected to make it to state. I guess we will see if they remain relevant or go back to being Dayton's whipping post and going out in the first or second round every year.

A lot of that depends on how the sophomore QB works out. He is supposed to have potential but we will see if he is up to speed when district starts.
