Possibly, they need to learn how to finish off a game. -

Yeah, and they seemed excited about getting Williams as a coach at the start of the season.

I think that the U.S wouldn't necessarily withdraw all of the military resources. There would probably be a security agreement similar to what they have with other countries, because it would still be needed to protect the new U.S borders and would be very expensive to close down all of those bases. The U.S currently has bases all over the world in other countries such as Korea, Japan, Australia, Germany.

Good job, keep it up. -
Hmmm, did I hit a nerve? I agree that there is not much in the draft as far as qbs where the Texans are drafting unless they trade up and lose some picks. The problem is that QB will be expected to play immediately and that usually doesn't work out very well except in a few instances (Luck, RG III for one year, Newton.) Hopkins was the one legit receiver I was referring to and their primary RB is gone now. Brady has Amedola back now and look where they are now, and also has a pretty good head coach even though I can't stand him I will admit that. Houston's coach may end up out of a job next year if they go backwards. As far as research goes, look before you type as I have already researched it. Overthecap.com will tell you all you need to know but since you haven't done it, here you go. The Texans have $27 mil in cap space right now, without signing any of their free agents. Assuming that they will resign a few of them, that number is less than that. Brees would be a a 30mil cap hit on whatever team takes over his contract, which he renegotiated in 2012 do the math. As far as your 2-8 comment , I guess you know all about that don't you.

I think he will make it through the year , but if there isn't any improvement it will probably be his last season.
-
No doubt he has cleaned up the program as far a character and discipline, but the results on the field haven't played out in his favor.
-
If that's true we will see some more indictments soon.

MAN I MISS MY DOGS-SENIORS THANKS FOR IT ALL
Bigdog replied to MAYFIELD's topic in High School Football
Nice Mayfield. You son is a senior next year correct? -
The injuries are starting to pile up. He will be 37 at the start of next season. With a crappy O-line , only 1 legit receiver, and no running game do you really think he would do any better on the Texans? Also the Texans can't afford the cap hit his salary would make. 30 mil cap hit would take up all of their space.

Eisenhower Football Player Charged with Capital Murder
Bigdog replied to Peppermint Patty's topic in High School Football
The "Jones" I was referring to are the other kids with the high dollar rims or stereos or shoes in the neighborhood. Even in poverty stricken neighborhoods you see kids with the expensive rims, the high dollar shoes from whatever basketball player is popular at the time, (Yes I remember people getting killed for Air Jordans). And no, that doesn't have anything to do with survival in any area. "Thats just the way it is " is a status quo answer instead of maybe trying to change the status quo for the better. Agreed. -
Eisenhower Football Player Charged with Capital Murder
Bigdog replied to Peppermint Patty's topic in High School Football
Either way, its not worth killing someone and ruining a potential career that could get you out of that situation. A kid doesn't have to have the newest clothes or shoes to survive. "Keeping up with the Jones" is going to get him state issued clothes and shoes for the rest of his life!
