I'm not sure if the UIL has a rule against it, but even if they don't I would think it would be a caretaker issue. Georgia, Butler , A&M, and Texas have a system in place to take care of the animal as the students move through and graduate.

A little more analysis, Luck's cap number the first 3 years will be 18.4, 19.4 and 24 mil. So its a backloaded contract that gives them room to restructure or cut him if need be. For comparison, Romo's cap hit will be 20.8, 24.7 and 25.2 for the next 3 years. (Although he is farther into his contract)
