1. The NHS office number is 409-727-2741.  by the way.
 2.
Thanks -- Saw that they're playing Vidor. They're a rival, right?  I'll only be able to pick up a ticket right before the game. Do you think i'll have a problem? Is there anything I should know --- Like how is parking? Thanks again.
LOL at the rival part.  It depends if you want to sit on the home side or visitor side.  Nederland is at home this year.  Parking is ok, you will probably have to park in the neighborhood and walk to the stadium.  You should be able to get tickets at the NHS office the week of the game, I would advise getting one on Monday or Tuesday of that week.  There will probably be a few tickets left at the gate but i wouldn't risk it.
Two, i guess. :)

 5. Have to put MOJO in the conversation, although they have not been dominate recently, they were in the 70's and 80s.
 6. You really want to start in on me??  Stick to dreaming of actually making the playoffs sometime in the next 2 years.
 7. Just like this one is about to be if it doesn't get back on topic.
 8.
When you add the less recognized sports as well, then I would say PNG, Ned. Soccer, Golf, Volleyball, Softball, along with baseball, football, and basketball. Track is another story, but if you add the majority of those sports then I would say those two for that area.
Ned has had some track success as well, but IDK if over the last five years.

Today is day 100
if you go by the count down clock, then you get 100 days today at 1930 since it is based on the time of first KO. however, it will still be 100 tomorrow for half a day. so, one could say 100 days in the morning when they wake up and say 99 tomorrow night when they go to bed. or we could just leave it on a day to day and today can be 101 all day and turn to 100 at midnight and on the final day resort back to the actual hour count. make sense. ;)
You are way over thinking this.

 11.
We are 101 days away from the start of the Texas High School Football Season, and today is......... Be a Millionaire Day It's Be a Millionaire Day! Today is the perfect opportunity to dream big and imagine what life would be like as millionaire! While a million dollars may not be what it used to be, seeing a seven-figure number in your bank account is still considered a major financial milestone. The first multi-millionaire in the United States was John Jacob Astor (1763 – 1848). Astor made his fortune in trade and later established the first trust in American history. His great-grandson, John Jacob Astor IV, was the wealthiest person aboard the Titanic.
Coincidentally someone just hit the Powerball jackpot!  One person!

I have seen his name get thrown around for every job thats come open the past few years, he is the new Toby Foreman.
Now I might be incorrect, but didn't Foreman just get his first head coaching job???  He has tried to get several head coaching jobs in the past and finally got his chance with Central.  I wish him well and hope he has success at Central. But, Coach Haynes has been a successful head coach and athletic director for years.  How is he the "new Toby Foreman".  He left Hardin and threw his name in the hat for Westbrook, was a finalist, then BISD decided to go with Flanigan.  Other than that, he has been patiently waiting for the right job.  He would do a great job there in Lumberton.  Hope we find out soon who gets this job.  Have any other names been thrown out there?
I heard Babin from Deweyville was on the Lumberton campus last week...... HAHAHA not really just a jab at DP8036 :-D hehehe
Not cool Coach, not cool.  8) ;D
LMAO!!!! ;-D just a little off-season antics hehehe
You're going to give him a heart attack if you keep doing that Coach.  :)

Its just regurgitated info and blind guesses. Read for entertainment purposes, ONLY!
Exactly.  That is why i said save your money.
You think with all of those playoff runs you could beat little ole BH. I was nowhere near those Bulldog stands in round 4 I choose to watch teams that had a chance ;D
Really, who was that?  19-4a was out by the second round. :)

I guess you must have know Denny would go out in the 1st quarter ;D You should be in Vega's forget this predicting highschool football stuff. ;)
denny going down is the only thing that kept the game close. If he would have been out against elgin bh might have won. 3 int and 2 fumbles even dayton could have had their way with bh.
Denny was healthy when he played the Bronco's , He had laid out several games prior to the playoffs and only had one game under his belt after coming back. Just compair the Bronco's and BH's common opponents from last year and even a Bronco can see that the angles landed on the Purple ponies that night in BH ;)
common opponents. You mean like crosby.
Nah like SC ;D oh and look how both teams played in the 2nd round....oh forgot you wern't there ;)
For a team that has been to the 2nd round once since they moved to 4A I wouldn't be talking too much trash.
 20.
Not to brag or nothing but vidor usually doesn't have to deal with that type of problem. We hired a coach for a reason and we let him do his job.
I don't buy it.  Every school has parents that want to influence the coach in some way.  The difference is whether or not the coach allows that to happen.
 21.
Well you have to first define "Competitive". Is a district competitive when it has a lot of strong teams or when most teams are close in strength? The first scenario best defines 19-4a and the second best defines 20-4a. However when you look at it from the perspective of a consistently strong team like Ned, 20-4a looks less competitive. However, if you look at dayton in 19-4a, which likewise is consistently strong, the situation is ironically competitive from their perspective. This is because they have a few teams frequently in their district (BH, crosby) that are close to their level of ability. In conclusion, I find dayton's playoff streak very impressive. Although 20-4a usually has a pretty solid PNG squad and these past 2 years an inspiring Vidor team, I would argue that Ned does not have to struggle as much as the better teams in 19-4a do to make the playoffs.
I disagree, 20-4a usually has at least 5 teams that are in close competition for 4 spots, with the last spot usually coming down to head-to head or a 3 way tie breaker.  19-4a was pretty much set , with 5th place 3 games out.  Ned has struggled plenty, including the couple of years of widespread injuries to key players and still made the playoffs.  As far as strong teams, most of the time it is a 2-2 split with 19 in bi-district with a few 3-1 one way or the other.
 22. It has cleared out here in Katy and the sun is out.  Don't know how well that field drains, but it better do it quick!
