Bigdog

LOL.  The difference here is there is no photoshopping.  This stuff has been floating around for at least a year and is finally starting to come out with the full story.  And it is the mainstream media, not social media that is reporting on it.

Nederland is piloting a BYOD program.  But the kids are not allowed to use them in the halls and can only take them out in the classroom with permission.  I guess we will see how it works.

He has been trying to do that for months now.  Push the blame elsewhere.

No idea, but BISD didn't merge with the other districts until the early 80's.  So it would be less than you would think.

I think last count was 280 total for Austin.

  very true.

The TEA or the school district?  As far as the ISD goes, they are still trying to hash out what format they want either the 5-2 or 7 independent voting areas.  The TEA won't be able to do anything until the district either stops appealing or exhausts all appeals.

:D

I believe this is somewhat a different scenario, TEA is not trying to completely shut down the district just replace the board and super.  I don't think it will stretch out that long, but may extend into the next school year.

So that they don't have to take comments from the public.   ;)

They voted for teacher cuts and closing Austin Middle - no surprise.  We will see how many "administration" jobs actually get cut.    [Hidden Content]

  Wasn't there, can't comment.  :)

Midway BBQ in Katy is pretty good, and Rudy's either in Katy or New Braunfels not bad either.

Great for Dr. Burns, I hate to say it but he is a BH grad.  LOL. :)

Don't confuse being well informed with being deceptive.

Abeline Super  Buddy?

Wild assumptions all around.  I am not reporting on anything and why is one comment on a message board "keeping up with the event" ?

So NOW Bisd is going to follow meeting rules...   [Hidden Content]

Yeah, all 14 of them.

You need to understand geopolitical matters a little better.  Its way more than just Iraq that's involved.

They weren't selling the seats anyway.

Uh oh, looks like Shafer is focusing the cuts where they belong, in the Admin office.   Way to many chiefs and not enough indians.

Yup. BTW , you can hover your mouse over someone's user name to see when they signed up. :)

It was $3.75 when I started work and went to $4.26 a few months later. Still didn't make a big difference because it caused something called inflation , google it Big Girl.

I don't either, within reason.  But walking into a store with a rifle slung over your back crosses that line , IMO.
