1. BG, you really are trying to boost your post count aren't you?  Or are just bored.
No. Whats sad is the fact that you are trying to compare your fan base to ours.  8)
I believe it was robadana that made the comparison first.  I am not the one with the inferiority complex.

 4. Lol.  I seriously doubt it.  It didn't affect the outcome of the game anyway.
The past is the past. I reference Austin Lake Travis sir. My Pirates aren't anyone's cakewalk anymore and everyone in 20-4A knows it. We have a heck of a coach, the best fan base in the area and a bunch of kids who think they can and will win. That is all you need for victories.
The best fan base in the area? You're kidding right? PN-G wins that hands down with Nederland a close second.
Vidor's fan base is there through thick and thin; go 2 - 8 and we'll see where the puppy fans are. And our fans travel; I would like to see the comparison on home and away between us and y'all.  Before Brian English, you never had over 5 fans show up for a basketball game. Then he started recruiting from PA and whammo, packed the gym. Just sayin'.
We have had bad seasons, but not too many in the last 19 years.  The crowds were still there even during the low times.  As far as basketball goes,  I went to games while I was still in high school and our side was packed. ( Definitely not during the good years.)  And no, you don't travel as well as either Ned or PNG, or even WOS for that matter.  We outnumber the home side just about every game with the exception of PNG, where it is about even.
haha touché, but no real burn here.. we are not blinded by our hopes, yall traditionally a better team... but the day you use beating Vidor as a measuring stick for success; you are in trouble haha
Hardly.  Our measuring stick is playing in December.

 8. I think that was something that clown August came up with when he was with Nederland.  I played for him, but I don't remember.

They have spent all that money on upgrades and only get 1 playoff game each year. 8)
If they had a bigger Visitors stand that would be great
It's coming.
No, we'll let people fight each other and pepper spray each other at your stadium that you share with the other Baytown schools. We have values at BH. BTW, how many playoff wins does GCM have again? Ya'll have beat the Hill one time and the rest of the games GCM were brought to the wood shed.  ;D
Knock it off you two.
I don't disagree with you having a heck of a coach.  As far as Lake Travis goes, I would say that's an apples to orange comparison as Lake Travis has won 5 state titles in a row, and has been to the playoffs 13 times so they have a pretty good success rate.  Fan base, well I think Ned and PNG would have something to say about that.
 12. Don't want to rain on your parade too much Robadana, but Vidor has been in the playoffs 5 times in your history.
 13. You better run fast across those tracks Prepfan, or your purple brothers might disown you. ;)  Thanks though.  Neumann is 146-74-1 in 19 years.  11 years straight in the playoffs, and another 4 straight after 2007.  To help you out, Prepfan, 1 Semifinal appearance , 5 quarterfinals, and a long list of consecutive bi-district wins.
 14. Where the heck is Tigres Juvenil Nuevo Leon ??

No telling who all has missed the previews, most of us book mark the football forum as a short cut.  ;) Raidernation is correct. Makes sense, why leave the page we do everything on.
You would be surprised how wrong you are in making that statement. Most on this site do not bookmark just the football forum. I only count two narrow minded, lazy members here. ;) ::)
Might want to check that poll above, there Lassie.  ::) ;) Looks like atleast 13. All my buddies are on here for football Lassie, not Tennis and Golf like you. lol.  ;D
Oh, and another thing.  The man you wish to refer to as "Lassie" has forgotten more football than you will ever know...a review of your post histories will make that obvious.  My buddies come on here for football as well, but they also have the mental ability to navigate a message board.
I doubt that. Seems like you would want to make the site the best it can be. As a leader on this site, please refrain from always jumping on people, when a personal friends of yours is involved. May need to add some more rules that apply to leaders on this forum. Keep it the same, I was just giving my opinion and Lassie got rude. Go back and read it. But sense you know him, he is the football god. Good day Counselor.
Someone is not going to last long here.  LOL.
 16. he has turned the program around.  I agree lets wait and see what he does without the studs.  I didn't put Thompson from WO-S on the list because this was his first year as HC in the area.  I know he has been coaching for years, but I want to see what he does as HC.
 17. Ozen always has the athletes, but that doesn't necessarily guarantee anything. The key to this year's team will be their defense.  If they kept giving up as many points as they did last year, they will still be 3rd or 4th in district. If the defense improves, they will probably be fighting for 2nd.
 18. I remember when two-a-day practices were early in the morning and late in the evening ( we would start a couple of hours before dark.)  Other than having them on consecutive days, we were following the rules.  We still had the first week without pads.
Ok.... So current coaches Larry Neumann Brian Barbay - Coldspring Stump - Bridge City
 20. I would say in no particular order: Larry Neumann Dan Hooks Brian Barbay at Coldspring Curtis Barbay at Newton Stewart at Dayton
 21. #1 MCM - of course.-  This year could possibly be for the DC. #2  Ned vs Angleton- should be a good test to see where we stand early on. #3 Ned vs Crosby - another team that we have had a lot of close games with lately.
 22. One playoff run probably is not going to get you in the rankings. Most of those teams are in and go a couple of rounds deep regularly.
