So lets come at it from this direction.  who do you suggest for the Ozen coaching job?  That is your point that the coach is not getting 100% from his players, right?

I haven't offered an opinion on how far Nederland will go, and nobody on this site has said Nederland will win state.  YOU have come on here from the day that you got reinstated and started attacking Nederland, because your former team is no longer the dominant team that you think they should be.  You can't accept that things are cyclical, that other teams rise while others fall.  Nederland was a non-factor in 20-4a in football for 30 years until Neumann got here, now they are in the playoffs every year and most years are in the hunt for the district championship.  The same thing has happened when English got here.  He greatly improved Vidor the few years he was there and has improved Nederland since he arrived.

And secondly if Todd resigns and Clay takes over, then yes you are right, it won't miss a beat. However if he resigns and Joe Sausagehead takes over, then you may have some issues with your program very similar to what Ozen is going through right now. Try never.  Vidor didn't start consistently  making the playoffs in baseball until it was expanded to four teams.

[/quote] Pretty much all of the 7A schools in Arkansas are clustered in one area, NW Arkansas.  There is a 7A east and west division I believe, with the east division around Little Rock.  LR is about 4 hours from NW Arkansas, and you can go all the way across the state in about 6 hours.  Not so much with Texas, 12 hours and you would barely make it.

Whereas the other 20-4A schools only make 1 trip in football, 2 in the other four sports. Livingston gets hosed in this deal, not the other 20-4A schools. yeah they have been around 1100 the last few years.  I think Ned's have been in the 1460-1470 range by the way Grad.  I am going by the enrollment reports from the last few board meetings.
