1.
Well, let's step back here.  By a rough count and even rougher geography, there were 23 games in the, for lack of better phrase, Beaumont area.  Looking at the posts here, there were only complaints about capacity being an issue at 1, yes only 1, of those games.  And if I may be so bold, despite the many great matchups and rivalry games that are yet to be played, it is likely that the only issue regarding capacity will recur when the two teams that played in that lone game play again on January 31st. I also find it interesting that the Merrill Center was brought up for as most of you know, I live in the Katy ISD.  I am still waiting for when the "profits" of the Merrill Center, which has hosted consecutive Southland Conference tournaments, countless predistrict tournaments, UIL regionals and is even host to a professional (well, sort of) indoor football team, to provide me relief on my Katy ISD property taxes.  I paid those last week and it certainly didn't come this year.
Amen to that Grad,  I just built a house in Katy ISD.  And no, I don't have a child in the district yet.  That will be next year.
 2. The Butch Thomas Basketball Center??  Sorry, couldn't resist. :)

 4.
big dog, I can understand that this needs to be closely watched, or else it can turn ugly.  Having said that, it is a fine line that you walk, between responsible monitoring and censorship.  STJFL made a concious decision to exclude a whole area from competition, and they never gave the participaing parents a reason why.  When you have nothing else to go on, you speculate and assume...it's human nature... Now, I will offer a correction.  What happened to me was as a flag coach for the Orange Cobras organization, it happened a few years back, but it DID NOT happen at an STJFL event.  Big Titan's did.  My point was that racism is alive and well, no matter what we may work toward...there will always be individuals that behave hat way.  Is the STJFL racist?  I don't beleive it is.  What has happened is that they are offering no reasons as to their actions.  That is troublesome, and something that might end up in a bigger court of public opinion where they will not have the luxury of having a thread locked to help them remain silent.
I agree that it is a fine line.  The difference is that this is a privately owned website, not the court of public opinion, and the owner could be held libel for accusations made here.  I have no dog in the fight per se, other than following and enforcing the rules of this site.
 5. Keep this thread to facts that can be proven, not accusations or assumptions or this thread will be locked.
 6. Back on topic dustoff and bronco.
 7. Correct.  It was 25-7 Nederland. 25-0 until the 4th quarter.  Friendswood was ranked #2 in State at the time.
 8.
LOL WOW this is way far from the topic  ;D ;D ;D ;D BMT 4A TEAMS
Thank you.  Lets get back on topic.
 9. I don't think you could knock it down with explosives anyway.  Too close to Reliant.  Maybe the Texans owner can pony up some money to demo it, that would give them more parking!
 10. I went against the grain on this one.  I want to see a Dayton again in the first round.
 11.

Ozen will be returning almost their entire defensive unit which held both #2 Brehnam and Lamarque to season lows in the play-offs.. District MVP RB Jakobi Jones 2 All-District WR's Hamilton & Andrews 1 All District DB Williams 1 Super Gold DB Brown 1 All District Kicker 1 All State Punter Hamilton
were was that defense against bh
Or against Ned?
 12. It looks like there are several videos where some one "gained access".  From thier descriptions the door is wide open.
 13.

There is usually 13k or so at either site now.  I agree about the parking, it stinks.  I just don't think that either team will give up "homefield advantage" for this game.
Both stadiums are literally 'around the corner' from each other.  So, is this REALLY homefield advantage?
They view it that way, Soulja.  Those home games are like gold.  In fact, I heard that the only reason that Nederland agreed to play WO-S at Lamar was that WO-S was giving ups its home date in the home and home series.
Are they going to renew the series next year?
Yep, and in more ways than you think.  Some examples would be PNG waiting until almost kickoff to let the Nederland fans in a couple of years ago, and Nederland returning the favor.
 15. Thanks.  So how many do they have returning starters total do they have returning?
 16. How are Central and Ozen looking for next year?  I hear about what mid-county and Vidor have coming back alot, but not as much about the BMT teams.

 18. Nope we don't need one.  Bragging rights are enough.  TexasBob lists Provost-Umphrey's capacity at 15,300.  Thats not that much more than are there at the other stadiums.
 19. Enough.  Knock off the attacks or the thread will be locked.  I have already warned on the other thread.
