1. Man , digging up old history!!  I just went back and looked,  I registered here the day after that first post.
 2. Can we just play the game already????  sheesh.
 3. Ok, we have already been through this once.  DO NOT bring a child's private life onto this board.
 4.

Kingwood Park.
HAHAHAHAHAHA  Well, your gone next week... ;)
Think so ??  I bet you thought you were going to beat Crosby too.
 5. ok, thats enough.
 6. I would say 19-4a has two strong teams (Dayton, SC )and then a dropoff.  Same thing for 20-4a. (Ned and Vidor) although Ozen might make some noise.
 7. old news Bullpups.
 8. Their homecoming is against PNG, I think.
 9.
Vidor sends the same amount to each school district for all away games. They probably sold them first to current season ticket holders then to the public.  Hence the reason there is only XX amount tickets left.  Just one of the perks of being a season ticket holder!  If Vidor would have sent all of their visitor tickets to Ned, don’t you think fans that didn’t go to the school district the week of the game or before would be ticked if they were turned away at the gate because they didn’t purchase the tickets at the school??
That happens at MCM every year.  The tickets are gone before the game starts.
 10.
Ok I got to the bottom of it. Vidor only sent over a certain allotment at the beginning of the year and Nederland sold most of them to season ticket holders. The remaining tickets is what NISD has to sell because Vidor won't send anymore. Not sure why they won't but there's your story.
That sounds alot more reasonable.  Lets tone done the accusations please.

 12.
Neumann's Dogs do not wear the same uni's as August had them wear.  Neumann changed it when he got here, not the colors, but the look and style.  New uni's was about all Bobby brought to Nederland.
I was class of '92, so it was my senior year.  I  don't remember the uniforms exactly so I am not sure.  I do remember the pep rally when we unveiled the new look.  Lots of excitement then!!  Too bad August couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag.
 13. I think he started there in '94 or '95, I'm sure one of the vidor posters would know for sure.
 14.
Didn't Nederland go from the 'Steeler' gold to the 'Old' gold when Nuemann came along?.....and I am just wondering how many Nederland-Vidor threads will be on here before next Friday?!?!
This was done close to  the end of Bobby August's tenure in 1991.  Nederland went from a black helmet with Steeler gold NB on it to the current helmet and uniforms.  Nuemann came on in 1993.
 15.
It will all come down to what happens the 4 or 5 times Vidor puts it in the air.  That will decide this game, will they catch our safeties coming up for run support while a TE slips past em.  It will be this simple in my opinion.
True, but I like our chances.  3 Pick-6s in the last two games.
 16.
Keep barking chihuahuas...you need to read your history books about the last time you played in Vidor. BTW, we returned the same amount of players as you including the best football player in this area.
Do you really want to bring up Ned vs Vidor history?  Or only the history that benefits your team.  LOL.
 17. Your point was the D1 running back was gone. Mine was he wasn't the one that ran for the most yards.  Most of thier team came back from last year.
 18.

Angleton has virtually the same team as last year.  they got 298 yards against us and we had a chance to beat them at the end of the game.  They hung a double nickel on you and 500 yards and the game was over by the 3rd.
Minus there D1 (university of houston) runningback that graduated. Come on bigdog i know your smarter than that...... ::)
Nice try,  but West and Cooper are still there.  Cooper was the one that rolled up 153 yards on ya.
 19. Angleton has virtually the same team as last year.  they got 298 yards against us and we had a chance to beat them at the end of the game.  They hung a double nickel on you and 500 yards and the game was over by the 3rd.
 20. GCM's last 2 scores were on the 2nd team.  You want to compare Sante Fe , Bridge City and Clear Brook to Angleton??  You'd think you would have learned after giving up 500 yards to Angleton last year.
 21. If I weren't in Houston, I would take you up on that.
 22.

Nederland by a lot... These kids have seen the same offense three years in a row... No surprises in vidor... I am sure angleton had a pretty good run game, pass game and d....big Ned wins this one by a Noel field goal.. plus 28..... I do not know if vidor will get 5 first downs all night..... Sorry PIrates I pick u 2nd or 3rd in 20 4 a...
I agree with the assestment that Vidor is predictable "run," "run," "run," Nederlands strength at Defense is "prevent the run," "prevent the run," "sack the Qb", "sack the Qb"..... With that said, I do believe Vidor will have big plays (maybe some type of trick play that they pull out of their bag of tricks) Special teams will be important for both teams.  Look for onside kicks when least expected. If Nederland offense clicking on all cylinders, Nederland by more than 2 Tds. Vidor will do fine in front of their home crowd and I do believe this will be higher scoring than anyone thinks. Go Dogs!
Just curious did you happen to see what that "prevent the run, prevent the run, sack qb, sack qb" did last night? If I am not mistaken (and I am pretty sure I am not) I believe it was something to the tune of 38 carries for 273 yards which would give an average of 7.18 yards a carry. So "prevent the run" definitely did not happen last night....just saying I say Vidor by 13. Was not impressed with Nederland at all listening to the game last night. Granted they were playing the almighty Angleton, but was a sloppy game with several mistakes that were costly.
Almighty Angleton that hung a double nickel on Vidor last year, And put up almost 500 yards on the vidor D.
 23. I will take Summer Creek.
