I would say 19-4a has two strong teams (Dayton, SC )and then a dropoff.  Same thing for 20-4a. (Ned and Vidor) although Ozen might make some noise.

I think he started there in '94 or '95, I'm sure one of the vidor posters would know for sure.

Your point was the D1 running back was gone. Mine was he wasn't the one that ran for the most yards.  Most of thier team came back from last year.

Angleton has virtually the same team as last year.  they got 298 yards against us and we had a chance to beat them at the end of the game.  They hung a double nickel on you and 500 yards and the game was over by the 3rd.

GCM's last 2 scores were on the 2nd team.  You want to compare Sante Fe , Bridge City and Clear Brook to Angleton??  You'd think you would have learned after giving up 500 yards to Angleton last year.

If I weren't in Houston, I would take you up on that.

If I am not mistaken (and I am pretty sure I am not) I believe it was something to the tune of 38 carries for 273 yards which would give an average of 7.18 yards a carry. So "prevent the run" definitely did not happen last night....just saying I say Vidor by 13. Was not impressed with Nederland at all listening to the game last night. Granted they were playing the almighty Angleton, but was a sloppy game with several mistakes that were costly.
