3 extremely talented and experienced WRs, 2 extremely talented RBs, 2 very talented TEs, and an O-Line that only lost two starters last year.
Well, "Dogs", with all that talent, why even play the games?  No one else has a chance.
Nobody is saying that.  That's why we play the games.  The Ned faithful are just excited about this team and possibly going further than last year in the playoffs.
 2.
I was asked a question today and I was not sure how to respond. I am a PN-G graduate, but Brock Pryor for Nederland is my son. That being said here is the question. If Nederland goes to the Reservation and beats PN-G for the third straight year will Faircloths  job be in jeopardy?
I wouldn't think so.  Burnett only won 5 games out of the 15 years that he was there.
 3.
Vidor will make it farther in the playoffs then any other 4A team in SETX.
And the vidor fans wonder why people keep making threads about them.  SMH
 4.
NEDERLAND LOST 7-0 TO BAY CITY IN 2000 REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP (STATE QUARTERFINALS). LOST TO SMITHSON VALLEY IN SEMI FINAL IN 2001. 2012 WILL PROBABLY THE BEST DEFENSIVE TEAM FOR NED. SINCE THOSE YEARS. AT #17 PROBABLY NOT OVERRATED. NON DISTRICT RESULTS SHOULD HELP CLARIFY THAT. THIRD GAME OF THE SEASON WILL BE AT #10 ANGLETON. 20-4A IS ALWAYS A TOUGH DISTRICT AND ALL 4A TEAMS HAVE DEPTH ISSUES. NOTHING IS SET IN STONE BUT AT LEAST 4 TEAMS IN 20-4A WILL BE COMPETETIVE. LOOK FOR SOME WARS IN THAT DISTRICT.
Caps lock please!
 5.
gotta disagree there, jackthehammer...I think Vidor is as good a bet as anyone to be a playoff team in 2012...I see Nederland, Vidor, and Ozen as playoff teams with the other spot being a toss up between PNG, Central, and maybe Livingston
I think that will depend on several of things.  One will be the offensive line.  With the loss of most of the line and ( I think) two of thier RBs,  Quirante (sp) might have a tougher time getting yards.  Also,  the passing game.  Will they pass more???.  Also, keeping Quirante healthy with him playing both ways will be paramount.  Lastly,  with the roller coaster of emotion from last year, will they be able to keep up that intensity all season or will the season grind them down.
 6. For Ned: PNG - Away Ozen- Home Possibly Central if they improve like I think they will.
 7.
Skyline produces more D1 players than almost any other school in texas, but never seem to do anything in the playoffs.  Reginald Samples does less with more than almost any coach out there.
I was wondering why they were on this poll.
 8.

It will be good to see if the TE gets more involved in the offense this year.  I think it will open up the passing game and  indirectly the running game.
Washington worked hard this summer on picking up his speed and recieving. His height will give the line backers trouble with coverage. He is not a speedster but with his size he will carry a few tacklers extra yards.
Good to hear.

 10. And you sit at home after bi-district.  It happens...  alot. ;)
 11. Lame -  But still against the rules.  Don't do it again.
No, because now they are going to name the field as " Calvin Walker Field"! The bathrooms are being named after the school Board, and the parking lot is being named after Soulja! lol Just messing with ya. ;D ;D
If that's the case, I'd immediately paint Jaguar heads all over the place and tailgate even on off game days.
How is that different from any other day Soulja??
 13.
Sean Yoder from NED was a good one
Yep,  You can add Eric Cammack to that list as well.

And, we played it at their house. They have their team back, we have ours but WE'RE PLAYING IN THE BONEYARD THIS YEAR!!! Vidor 28, Nederland 17. Get some!!!!
And your point?  We beat you at the your place as much as we beat you at ours.
Do i really have to remind yall of what happened the last time yall visited the boneyard. Let me do it. Yall were one of our two wins.  8) Nuff said.
I underlined the pertinent part.  You had two wins, and sat at home.  seems like that was a 1 or 2 point win.
 15.
Did you mean "bound" for the state school or State penitentiary? Ain't nuthin' but thugs and riff raff coming out of Nederville.
Not jealous much are we?? lol

 17. Ok, lets calm it down some. And keep it on topic.
 18.
Offense will be the same as last year...base power I with spread and pro sets mixed in...best description of the offense would be multiple set
I wouldn't mind seeing more quick throws to the TE across the middle, with the WR's stretching the field for them.
 19. This will probably be a 7-point game.  I am interested to see if we put some new wrinkles in the offense.
 20. Good man.  :)  You probably will need to find someone on the Ned side that has too many tickets or can't go.
