Back to my original post about Dayton being #1 in district , how many times has Dayton been past the 1st round?? How many times for the ant hill? I guess if BH's objective is just to make the playoffs, we can lump them in with all the Houston ISD teams, one and done.

And before the Ant Hill pipes up about last year, that means getting past the first round and not getting knocked out by the #4 team from another district. ;)
Don't make me edit your post again! ;D ;D ;D "#1 in district? ??? ??......REALLY?" You do know who won district last year, right? You just worrie about those little indians bouncing around in their leather house-slippers and feathers. The poddles don't want to come over that Trinity River and get a real thumping, again. ;)
And you need to worry about actually getting past the 1st round. Since our 4th place team sent you home last year. Yeah, that OT win by one td really helped you a bunch when you got to the playoffs!
Didn't yall beat that 4th place team 44-41 ??? I love how everyone labels Ozen as this 4th place team ;D They had some injuries that held them back last year and we got em when they were healthy and playing well. I have no shame in losing to Ozen they would have mopped the floor with Dayton. Dayton just got lucky and drew a better match up in PNG (Which they only sqeeked by thierselfs). Oh and BH vs. Ned 2-0 baby no matter how many playoff games you wone you couldn't beat us ;)
Key word "beat" , which is more than you did, at your own house. Keep trumpeting about a non-district game, and sitting home and watching other teams advance in the playoffs. BH- King of non-district!! LOL.
Hmmm where did we beat Ned last year??? BH - Neds Daddy 8)
where did 20-4a's 4TH place team beat BH? Who knocks the ant hill out every year??? 20-4a - BH's daddy in the playoffs :)

Who will win: Vidor or Nederland?
Bigdog replied to DogsDLine's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
not true, penny and a half...Vidor talked an inordinate amount of trash last year...your just off to an earlier start this season
That's true every year. Most of the hype this year is the Vidor poster's making, even though everyone else is giving them kudos for a good year last year. -

Bigdog replied to DogsDLine's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I believe its 58-9-1 but I'm not sure. vidor has less than 10 wins overall though. -
we? so you were with them on the field? im referring to keyboard QBs!!!
Lol. When I said "we" I was referring to the current team. Just as two cents said " Really? Not one team we played last year shut us down. Heck noone held us to less than 15 points in the whole season. We averaged 360 yards a game and 29.5 points a game. Wow. And we went 3 rounds deep in the playoffs." Its sad that you have to resort to being the grammar police because you don't have an rejoinder to my post. (BTW, you might have to google rejoinder.)

Hey , at least I didn't make the no-trade list. It wouldn't matter anyway, I have a no-trade clause in my contract .

Don't pay attention to these posters they are old and useless, barking dogs without a bite, only thing of them to fear, is their incontinence (watch your step)!
I would say our bite was pretty good, since we went undefeated in district.

Area Team with the biggest turnaround
Bigdog replied to mypooh's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Honestly , I see Central making a big turnaround. They don't stay down for long and will make some noise this year. Probably end up 2nd or 3rd in 20-4A, and make it to the Area round of the playoffs. -
Yeah, August never made the playoffs. I played for him for 2 years unfortunely. We payed CE King back a couple of times for '88 though.

Enrollment numbers for SETX 5A-3A Districts
Bigdog replied to WOSgrad's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
My posts were in direct response to the idea that Lumberton would go back to 3A. I dispute that idea. I wasn't insinuating that Lumberton would surpass other 20-4A schools in enrollment. Lumberton enrollment will be more next realignment than what was turned in this past realignment. Their numbers are not on the decline like someone stated earlier.
I don't think they will be 3A either, that why I was asking about the bottom number moving. -
Enrollment numbers for SETX 5A-3A Districts
Bigdog replied to WOSgrad's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I don't disagree about the 1100 statement, thats only 13 kids, but I don't see them overtaking any other school in enrollment with the exception of maybe LCM. I suspect you will see more people moving into the Silsbee and H-J districts over the next few years to get out of the traffic situation, and the lack of bond issues. -

Bigdog replied to WOSgrad's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
No, I believe its stabilizing and actually might start dropping once the younger families' kids start graduating. Also the traffic situation is not helping, its as bad a some parts of Houston! (ok, maybe an exaggeration) -
Mark it down, Lumberton's enrollment will be above 1100 next realignment. My wife teaches in Lumberton, going on 13 years now in Lumberton (first 10 years of teaching was in Silsbee), she says the enrollment is growing. I do not think we will ever see 6A in my lifetime.
well, thier enrollment was 1063.5 for 2010-2012 and 1085 this time around, so I guess 1100 is possible. I wouldn't say that 20 kids is really growing though. Also, where else are they going to put them? The district is landlocked on all sides. -

Yeah, he used to post under the screen name purplepassion.
If you would have done a little more research then you would have known that my screen name was Ned11str8 for years before I switched it to purplepassion at the end of last season to mess with a friend of mine .
I rest my case.
