Jack Lynch, been doing it for 30+ years at CO Wilson. The man is truly selfless and outs everything into gettin junior high athletes ready for HS.
I had Coach Lynch..man did he ever give us a good cussing once. LOL. We deserved it too.
He's very much a old-school coach. -
Does this mean the playoffs will end after the 1st round?
:) :) :) :) Nice one !

No, but they could go elsewhere and coach.

I would like to see your proof that Ned covered anything up Dickie. Unless you have proof, don't drag other districts into this with unfounded accusations.

I understand that the overall program won't change because the HC is still there, but coaching styles are different even within the same program.
Certainly. I agree. But you can't prevent or blame someone for wanting to better themselves, coach at the next level, be closer to family or return to where they were born and raised.
No, I don't blame them at all. I did the same thing when I moved back to Texas. I understand going somewhere else to move up the ladder, especially when the HC looks like he will be here for a while. I was suggesting that the district offer incentives for the coaches to stay to keep the coaching core together. Ned has had their share of assistants moving around, but the core group with the OC and DC have been the same for many years. I would guess that they could also go somewhere else to coach at the HC/AD level, but choose not to.

I put Ned and PNG at 1 and 2 respectively, with either Vidor or Ozen in third and fourth. Vidor has not proven that they can beat either of the top 2 consistently.
PN-G is always scary. They sometimes start out slow but then bam..... Central needs help. Mitchell is not a one man team. Ozen could be a little gun shy as far as agressiveness after last years finale. Livingston has Collins but that appears to be it(i look for them next year) Lumberton, well.......... LC-M could make some noise but the pieces have to fall perfect(doubtful) Ned is still celebrating last year and putting up billboards this year(will still make the playoffs) Vidor will put all doubts aside this year Vidor Ned PN-G Central
I don't see any billboards going up in Ned. I'm sure they are focused on next season, and they have been there before. Defense will be as nasty as last year. Ned PNG Vidor Ozen

you obviously didn't get my meaning. it was our game to win and we lost it. yes, you got the 4th and nine. your qb threw it up and your guy came down with it. yes, your reciever made probably the graetest catch of the year that put you in scoring position. yes, our defense did not hold. so in my opinion, we lost the game. not taking anything from Ned. they made the plays, we didn't at the end. and you know dang well, we will be gracious hosts as yall were last year.
Not to mention the leading rusher of 20-4A at the time went down with a game ending injury at his third play that game. And already had 30+ yards that game anyways. But not making excuses. Yall made the plays. We didn't. But that game could've gone either way.
He wasn't the leading rusher. Hate to burst your bubble but we had this discussion several times during the season.

Are they as ugly as the football uniforms??
Ned has a #1 and #2. There are no "regular" starters. You earn what you get in Ned. The best player will be on the mound for Ned. Looking ahead, for this group, there is 1, 2 and maybe a third. These players have to have the potential to develop and strengthen into a Varsity pitchers. Just because you pitched when you were 13 doesn't put you on the mound in hs. If you want little Johnny to play, go to Png. However, yours might not be the one they want. I know that they would love to have our Big Gun on the mound playing for them. Their group at this level is pitching poor. Look at the Varsity and tell me what you see. Some parents belly ached for their kids to pitch earlier in hs and now the are not even on the field anywhere at the Varsity level. Little league is over,it's time to put it on the field. Go Dogs ;)
please post and let us know when the"BIG GUN" is on the mound, so we wont miss this kid because so far, i havnt seen one yet that i would call a "BIG GUN". Ive seen 4 kids that should be starting and closing
Apparently, ACCORDING to your post, there are no guns in Ned. I let the kid know who signed to play baseball on collegiate level your "thoughts' ::) I have watched Ned Baseball ;D a long time and I have seen many great pitchers. Nederland is sitting pretty with this class on up thru Varsity. Maybe you should rename your "New" name something other than Nederland in it. Nederland has followed a 1, 2 punch on the mound for awhile....maybe your just sour grapes and have a beef about your :'( little johnny...i don't really know. There is always football, your odds are increased. Then again, probably not. I call it like I see it. Take that for what's worth. 8)
All of you cool down. -
Former WOS coach Toby Foreman applies for Jasper job

Wow! Going over to the enemy! lol. Kidding aside, he would be a good fit for Jasper and get their program back on track. -

I believe he is referring to Lumberton's playbook. Collins is a 3 star ranking on Scout. I couldn't find any mention of Quirante on either Scout, Max Preps or Rivals.

This will be a work in progress, so bear with me. I am going to start with 20-4a. Let me know if any corrections are needed. On that note, does anyone have the address of Livingston's baseball field? -
I am trying to work on getting locations for all of the local stadiums. I would like to start with 20-4a first. If anyone has a google map link and/or exact directions that would be great!
