1. Its happened before.  Lets hope the guys stay focused.
 2. Ok, I got the question now.  I'm sure someone has the research already done.
 3.
This may not be appropriate so I apologize if it's not. My all-time favorite is "Boy... You could screw up a wet dream!"
That sounds like Coach Eisemann.  "Get up boy , your killing my grass!"
 4. Yep, if we fall asleep in any of the next three games we will end up sharing a DC again.
 5.

If Central wins this game there will be a state of chaos in district 20-4A!!
If Central wins this game I'll wear that silly ars gay indian headress at PNG and dance naked at a Vidor game with a picture of Soulja tatood above each nipple.  ;D
;D
Too bad central didn't win.
I am glad we did for the Vidor fan's sake! :)
 6. No doubt McFarland had a rifle.  I hated running routes for him!
 7. I perfer our black uniforms.  Black and Silver would be good for Lum.  New uni's and a new attitude!
last time I checked, this was a forum. forums usually mean anybody can post on a topic if they have an opinion on it. Call it a 4th and 9 miracle chunk if you want, but we completed a pass and Vidor failed to defend it. thats the difference between KNOWING how to win close games and LEARNING how to win close games. Vidor shouldve defended it better.. Only one thing matters in close games.. Nederland won and Vidor lost..
I was waiting for you to show up.  8) God forbid someone actually think they had a chance to beat Nederland except Barbers Hill.  ::)
If you really want to bring it up,  Vidor had a chance 52 other times and fell short. :)
 9. Who are you predicting for a round three opponent for Nederland?
 10. Why is this still being discussed?  That was 2 weeks ago.
 11.

I will agree that Vidor's pass defense has improved a lot, but the problem I have with believing in Vidor is they are so one dimensional. Its hard to go anywhere when you are a one dimensional team. Even if you do get to the playoffs, teams will eat you alive by stacking 8 or 9 in the box and manning up on the receivers. Same can be said for teams that are in spread and throw it 90% of the time. Thats why I am glad Nederland is back to a well balanced offense. I think we are close to 50/50 run/pass ratio. Gotta get a pass game together to be effective in the long run...
Not to beat a dead horse here.  But if not for a 4th and 9 miracle chunck and catch you guys would be 2 and 1.  That was a pass for a TD at the end of the game that would have eat you.  We are passing more and more every game.
Thats the difference between knowing how to win close games and learning how to win close games.
 12. You still have 4 games left against some of the top teams in the district.  Don't count on the playoffs just yet.  That applies to all teams with the probable exception of Lumberton.
 13. You had your chance lionbaseball, you didn't take it.
 14. If BH wins 19-4a (probable), wouldn't Vidor have to be in 4th to face Brenham?  If Vidor is 3rd in district they would be on the other side of the bracket.  ( FYI , i would take it one game at a time, nothing is settled in this district yet, with the exception of possibly Lumberton missing the playoffs.)
 15.
PNG  28 Ozen 21 (sure hope I'm wrong, or my Ozen in the playoffs prediction, could be in trouble)
Yep. three losses in this district and you might be sitting at home after week 10.
 16.
That was the 2007 football season.  Central stunk up the place...  The score was like 38-3 @ halftime.  We held Ned to 3 points in the second half and we scored some points to keep it interesting.
Different offense this year, the spread was not very good for eating up clock.  This O can chew up a lot of time.
 17. Some things that I noticed, note that I only saw the second half: Excellent pursuit to the sidelines by the Dog D- something that has been missing for several years. Very good open field tackles.  Also the corners are shedding thier blocks and making plays. The offense started clicking, although not a whole lot of passing.  The 4th and 8 pass for a TD was huge.
 18.
Hey neighbors , there a few on here that will keep this going as long as ya'll keep arguing.  May this thread rest in peace also.]
Yep.  Time to go bye-bye.
