we had some dumb penalties keep us out of the red zone. We also started pretty much running the ball all of the fourth quarter.

I don't know, we play you in a couple of weeks. I will be more interested in the stats from next week, but this week would be okay too. We need to concentrate on Central this coming week.

You have some good running backs. But if you don't loosen up the Defense, especially against the faster teams, its not going to matter.

My thoughts: Bellow looked alot better. His timing was there and he made good decisions and pinpoint passes. The running game showed up. We got it going in the second half. Defense was pretty good. We missed some tackles we should have made. Negatives: Too many silly penalties!! A couple of personal fouls, a block in the back , and holding. We were a little flat in the first half, too much else going on I guess. Vidor's D is scrappy. They were on the field a long time though. Vidor is going to have to find a passing game if they are going to compete.

There was no scoreboard on the bond issue.

I have never said Ned is one of the elite programs. Brenham has been to the State finals, the semifinals twice and regional semis twice in the last 7 years. So yes, it was a big win on a big stage.

I look foward to the game Friday.

I am willing to bet that thier fans will be plenty loud when they come to Ned. As far as the playcalling goes, we've already had a long discussion about the HC.
