  1. The division numbers are adjusted every two years and almost always go up especially with some of these super schools such as Allen and Katy that have over 5000 kids in the high school alone. Both schools will probably stay 5A for the foreseeable future due to that even with growth. Like I said drive around and open your eyes to the building being done; and not just inside the city limits. The areas zoned to Helena and CO Wilson are where the most growth is and that will continue for some time.
  2. A misconception. Just because the city’s population isn’t showing growth doesn’t mean that the ISD isn’t growing. Nederland ISD extends outside the city limits. Most of the growth has been along Spurlock and in Beauxart Garden. But of course Klein fails to mention that because it doesn’t fit his narrative.
  3. no, but the buildings are. To help the teachers to do their job they need a environment that is conducive to learning, not shoved into overcrowded rooms.
  4. And PNG is going to propose a bond this year to replace them.
  5. Please tell them to vote Yes on May 4th, or early vote starting April 22nd. Thanks.
  6. Sure it will. What do you think a classroom is for?? Having uncrowded, non leaking classrooms and educational areas is exactly what this bond is about. There isn't any "keeping up with the Jones, Nederland's schools are between 40-80 years old because people like you that stick their fingers in their ears and scream "NO" at ANY bond, no matter what was on it.
  7. They passed thier last bond in 2009. There would have been an impact by now, nice try.
  8. i read it. I also don't see any price differences between Ned and PN as far as bushiness go , so whats the impact?
  9. I also see tons of businesses with Yes signs in front of them.
  10. Funny, didn’t see any businesses closing in PN and seeing as Ned is almost the same composition businesses/ vs residential they will be fine.
  11. yes, Nederland is about 50/50 industrial and comercial vs residential. Another fallacy that the No crowd wants you to believe. Also Exxon/Mobil and Chevron have taxable land on the rolls.
  12. Because it’s $30 month. You can try to spin it but it doesn’t change that.
  13. No it’s having input from the people who actually work and teach in the buildings.
  14. Maybe you should look at academic ratings.
  15. More attempts to throw garbage at the wall and try to make it stick. The difference this time is social media where the facts are put out to refute rumors the no group start with facts. We didn’t have that last time so they could start stuff around town to try and sink the bond with no counters.
  16. You can contact them here or one of the members on facebook. [Hidden Content]
  17. Same meetings, tours were held during those meetings as well so the CAC could get a grasp of the issues in the schools.
  18. Not very often, its the same crap he's (or you) have been spewing on Facebook. The tours were hosted at the schools and were several hours long. The tours were hosted by NISD administrators.
  19. Wow Klien, just pulling everything directly off your page huh? You have no idea what things cost, especially technology. That would barely buy two computers.
  20. all over facebook and on the NISD website. Try again.
  21. Here you go again parroting Klien, or maybe you are him. There was no "secret" CAC meetings, it was open to the public and everyone who wanted to go went and they could see who else was there.
  22. Lol. How do you think schools run? or roads that you drive on are built? or the sewer and water lines that you use are maintained?? You want your roads smooth , your sewer and water lines working and not built with lead pipes but you want to keep old schools? Make up your mind.
