  1. I disagree, actually with the whole premise as I have already had this discussion before not even a week ago. I don't want to rehash that whole thread again, but there are teams (white teams as you put it) in this area that have made deep runs fairly recently in the playoffs and can always do it again if everything falls right. There is always a modicum of luck involved in a deep run , the playoff draw, a fumble goes the right way, weather. I have seen teams from here win playoff games that no one picked them to win many times. That's what makes the playoffs interesting.
  2. That comes down to money, not desire. Comparing Highland Park and some of the Houston areas to this area is apples to oranges.
  3. Important game for Vidor as far as district standings go, they have one loss now and still have BH and Ned coming up. Three or four district losses in this district might not make the playoffs.
  4. Nope. No hurt feelings here. It’s funny how all of the sudden that game doesn’t mean much when you are on the losing end .
  5. Seeing as the last 20 years Ned has been in the playoffs more than PNG , do you really think that’s Ned’s super bowl? Ned has the same objective as every other team, state.
  6. Yeah especially since they were saying the Shug was going to sweep Ned all three years. Lol
  7. Also, you can play it off as much as you want, but I get on the PNG site too and I see the hand wringing and whining when y’all lose.
  8. Lol. Yeah but if PNG wins they rush the field. (Just like Ned does). I’m not buying “we’re used to losing stuff”. It might not be the biggest win in a season it does matter and sometimes determines who wins district and gets a better path in the playoffs. Also, we had friends and relatives in both towns (I was there in 91-92) that made it sweeter when one side won.
  9. In the big scheme of things no, MCM doesn’t mean much. But you can beat that rivalry and I you think that game doesn’t mean more to the players your kidding yourself.
  10. How much are tickets at Eagle Stadium?
  11. The foods ok, I have heard the margaritas are pretty good.
  12. Maybe, but he has been out several times this year.
  13. Yep, they are open till 8 on Fridays. There is a small place called Meat Haven on 146 near 10, and also Tony's BBQ. Also a Freddy's burgers across 10 along with a Dickey's, Whataburger and others.
  14. Hmmm, LCM isn't exactly tearing it up either.... 15. Lol. Seems like I heard this last year. What was the score again? Anyway better focus on Vidor and pray Shug is ready when Ned comes to town.
  16. I noticed Coach Barrow looked a little perturbed when the PA News interviewed him after the game. Especially when asked about the penalties. I think he will get that straightened out.
  17. Yeah they haven't played great the last couple of games, but a lot of it this week was the field.
  18. yet he pleads innocent on talking down on other teams and towns.
  19. Good game Dogs. Don't know that I can really give an eval of Santa Fe, with the weather conditions no body was really running an offense and it was tough for the defense to tackle.
  20. A lot of pushing and mouthing all night from both teams.
  21. We heard it on the other end of the stadium
