  1. When I left.. . Woodville 26 Cameron Yoe 48
  2. One thing positive for Woodville.....Ivan Lockhart showed just how good he is.
  3. Well your friend from Newton should probably be more worried about their playoff run, rather than ours. Hear they're pretty good this year.
  4. One person said that. Stop trolling and get off the thread. I never said that, idiot. Go do your homework or something kid.
  5. Woodville is giving this game away right now.
  6. Penalties killing Woodville.
  7. BOOM! Lockhart 95 to the house on the kickoff!
  8. Like I said. Fireworks. lol
  9. So exactly what statistic gives you any reason to believe Yoe will beat us by 25+ points? Also, my point was that you were wrong about that, nothing more and nothing less. If you chose to dig too deep into it and ruffle your own feathers, then that sounds like it's your problem, not mine. Yoe may very well blow us out. I don't believe it eill happen, but I've been wrong before. Just like you have been. Which was my point. Stop connecting dots that aren't there. We appreciate the support though.
  10. Kinda like Coldspring was gonna beat Woodville two weeks ago, right?
  11. Watching film on both teams, this has the opportunity to be a track meet and may include alot of fireworks. Both teams have a lot of speed on both sides of the ball. Athletes will not be in short supply for this game. That's where the fireworks come in. Smith for Yoe and Lockhart for Woodville are two of the top athletes in Region 3. Defensively, both teams play a similar style. Both are fairly small up front and rely on their wealth of athleticism and "swarm" to the ball extremely well. BUT, both teams have also been very succeptible to the big play this year. Again.....supporting my track meet argument. Offensively is where the diffrence in style comes in. While yes, both teams possess a wealth of athleticism, they use their athletes in very different ways. At QB, Yoe has the edge, not due to talent, but due to a lack of in-game passing experience for Whitehead of Woodville. Having watched Whitehead since he was 8 years old though, I know he can air it out if need be. In the backfield, I believe Woodville has a very strong advantage, boasting two 1,000-yard rushers in the sophomore Martin and senior Lockhart. The depth of the Woodville backfield also plays a huge part in their success, with 12 different players having scored a rushing TD this year. On the edge, the clear advantage goes to Yoe, seeing as Woodville plays an offense that doesn't utilize the receiver position. If Woodville is going to win, they'll need to string together some very long, methodical "ground and pound" drives that eat up alot of clock and end in a score, as they've been able to do all year. Yoe will have to make stops on defense and continue to air it out and hit the homerun the way they've done all year. This should be a fun game to watch and I'm looking forward to it.
  12. I'm not sure about 21, but there were alot of seniors on the roster when they played in Woodville.
  13. Not for a second lol
  14. Well if it is shared with them, then they're obviously doing a much better job at handling this the correct, mature way, aside from completely trashing the entire Kirbyville program on an online forum behind a computer screen. To be quite blunt, I don't need to know you to know that this is the absolute WRONG way to handle the situation.
  15. You're absolutely right. Having seen Yoe four years in a row at the state championship games, I know just how well they've performed on that big stage year in and year out. It'll be tough for Woodville to overcome, but if they can, this will be a hell of a ballgame.
  16. Those are the most logical possibilities. Woodville has a shot too.
  17. As the most vocal Eagle fan on this site, I'm assuring you these sentiments are not shared by the vast majority of the community and fan-base. Our boys have worked hard to gain the success and respect they've earned, and believe they still deserve it regardless of how this one poster decides to voice their opinion. Lol
  18. I know it kills you to say that. Lol
  19. Sorry Wilcats. I truly want you to win and will root for you every step of the way! But Malakoff is a very very good football team, probably top 2 in this region with Rockdale. Malakoff by 3-4 scores.
  20. Don't feel bad, it took me months to realize haha
  21. 7:30pm at Buddy Moorehead Stadium in Conroe. Thoughts? Predictions? Comments?
  22. Don't ruin my fun. Lol
  23. Apparently the Woodville Way involves district championships and playoff wins too. I think someone got his heart broken by a girl from Woodville and the wounds just haven't been allowed to heal properly. Poor little fellow. Must suck being so bitter all the time.
  24. Wow. We may sweep this district. Awesome job Trojans!
  25. Anahuac had a lot of potential and some good, young talent. The QB was quick and they all played with alot of heart until the end. Hats off to them for a great season! Now.....we can start talking about Cameron Yoe. Lol
