umm im absolutely positive that some of the state championship teams out of burkeville could keep up with any team we had in this region this year. Out of class 1A. Cut it out bronco#34.

Taylor Rhorer, the kicker out of woodville has been contacted by several schools. Main one being mississippi state.

I think silsbee hits 100. Silsbee 102 Jasper 58 silsbee has been on a roll, excluding the ball game but who can blame them for barely losing to one of the best teams in the state, and jasper, coming off a loss too woodville, will need to build their confidence back up and, quite frankly, silsbee is NOT the team to do that against. lol

no. hence the ETC. But the last four you named, Anahuac, WOS, Vidor, and Jasper. As for jasper. They handed it too the dogs last night. So thats out the window. EC beat WOS stark by 20. Woodville has a good chance to beat them. Anahuac is 4-7, 4-8?? So idk about that either. And vidor hasnt played enough competition to be able to tell whether or not they have enough talent to do anything in their district. @utfan06    Sells scored 31 the first time and scored 19 the second time. Still say thats pretty good against the best team in this region. Woodville got their butts handed too them. That was pretty obvious. But individually, Sells had a pretty solid performance in both games. @SAWolverine    HAHAHA. I almost forgot that SA did get it handed too them by jasper. Looks like that clouds still flying high. ;)

Woodville out hustled and had a better post play than jasper.

And of course that would be said by a guy with a kountze football helmet right? Yes, they probably would. But if he can score 31 on silsbee, kountze SURE cant stop him. Yes, kountze more than likely beats them. But woodville has a whole lot better chance than most teams in this region in class AA.

their outside game has only come alive in the past few games. What game did you see?

Silsbee, HJ, Kountze, and kountze is a maybe. etc. And umm huntington, diboll. Two better than average 3A teams. Hardin and Buna were blowoffs. Woodville 72 Jasper 67

Both teams love to run. Very quick. I think woodvilles got the edge for two reasons. A.) the outside shot and B.) only one thing to say....#5. Any time hes on the court woodville has the advantage against most teams in this area.

hahahaha no. Huntington couldnt keep up with them. Nor did they have the outside game that woodville did. It was on a neutral site. At woodville, woodville wins by 30 or 40. At huntington the score is +10 or 15, Woodville.

Woodville played a great game against a well coached, very organized huntington team that had a few good athletes. Woodville needed a big game to win and did that and more. They beat a solid huntington team and bring their record too 9-3. Sells ONLY HAD 11 POINTS. So too all the critics that ask if woodville has anyone else....yes they do. The sophomore harrison had a great night. As a team, wville is playing great basketball. With two of their three losses coming too one of the best 3A teams in the state, the defending state semi-finalists silsbee, i think theyve had a pretty successful year this year. Dont quite count them out in 22-AA. Its a long shot but i believe anything can happen in that district.

Yeah they had a lot of athletes on that team. Looked like they could be good if they learn to gel with each other.

Very well said. Corrigan and newton had some good athletes. Woden is very fundamental. Will be a good district. Whoever makes the playoffs in this district definitely deserves it and my just make it a couple rounds deep.

Woodvilles jv beat chester 61-12. wow. I know chester isnt very good but either wvilles jv is an acceptional jv team or this is just ridiculous at chester. Someone please inform me on which one it is. lol

Newton had some athletes and could be good. Theyre going to struggle with this new coach though. But it looks like he knows what hes talking about pretty well. Woodville won by 11. Not just 5. It was five at one point late in the fourth but woodville scored a few at the end. Woodville/CH top two and Woden/SA for the third spot. But i have yet to see SA play this year.

Woodvilles speed dominated in the fourth. They had a 25 point fourth quarter and showed this central team that the one point win @Central was not luck on woodvilles part. Theyre just an overall better team. Good game by both teams though.

Both teams played good defense. Woodville dominated down low most of the game. Gaurds had a slow day. But this "press" that woden showed was way over-rated. It didnt even phase woodville. Woodvilles problem was leaving jump shooters wide open. They dont do that and this game was blown WIDE open by woodville.

Woodville, so far, has had a tough schedule. Probably not the toughest but one of the toughest. @Buna  @Silsbee @Pollock-Central  @Big Sandy Tourney (Hardin, Trinity, Silsbee(again), and EC) vs.Diboll 7 Straight away games and two of them against one of the best 3A teams in the state and their only other loss to an extremely improved EC squad who would challenge kountze for the best AA team in setx. Pretty good.

I agree. Woodville is a solid team that will contend for the district title when theyre on. When they arent on, i think they split with SA and lose twice too CH. Getting second or third in district. But i think theyll get it figured out.
