2.
Why was Central running the press with 1 min left?  Trying to run up the score?????
maybe Lee is trying to get his youngsters fine tuned. This is a young team that suffered a late breakdown Tuesday.
 3.
Understand, it was not stated that they cost the two HC there jobs because they were white it was there play calling that it was stated and i have heard it said that the last HC would change the OC plays. But if you say you coached there for the last 8 yrs then maybe you can explain why your practice were so unorganize and your game preparation were so poor so maybe you are right it was all of you coaches that cost each others there jobs and if you want to talk about the 3 and 4 round runs you had in the playoffs i think does teams should have went 4 or 5 round deep so you guys didnt do the job then either and dont take my word just ask anyone who played for you guys that when on to college they all say how they were cheated. So UNDERSTAND its not a COLOR thing because if VIDOR coach or NEDERLAND coach were at CENTRAL they would already have stae championships, bottom line is its good theres a change you guys just didnt do the job and hey i like drew and tony.sO ex-coach you for your x service and i hope youre winning where youre at now.
i really don't believe that's a ex-coach, only some imposing as a coach. The games I've attended this year, proved to me coaching changes were coming. The  game management was suspect. The play calling was suspect, the line technique was so bad, I wondered was they hitting the sleds? Heli half the time or naw, majority of the times the plays were coming in late, drawing flags for too much time. I thought this was unfair to Mitchell, this penalty is a QB foul. How many times have opposing team adjust to what we were doing and we not adjust to what they were successfully doing. Our QB was required to run all the way to the sideline after every play to get the next play, by the time he gets back to the huddle there's only a few seconds on the clock. Man I can go on, and on. This is facts things that was actually occurring. Glad for the change.
It's funny.  2 losses in recent memory  ( Dallas Madison and Ozen ) was in a game where we were reluctant to shoot the 3.  It wasn't like we were taking them end missed.  We maybe only attempted 1...and I do know we have some pretty good shooters on this team.  In games like the one last night, you can help your team out by ATTEMPTING the 3 ball.  We needed a  loss like this to humble the team.  Hopefully, a lesson was learned and we'll be ready if a similar situation presents itself in the playoffs.
In Central's games Vs. LCM and Ned, the Jags only made one 3 in each game. I would guess central did not take more than 3-3s against us last Friday night? Central doesn't need to shoot many 3's to win, IMO.
Yes, true.  With all that said, Central still had ample opportunities to win in both regulation and overtime.
the perimeter game would open up so much for wiliridge. The guards for some reason don't take enough perimeter shots. I saw a few times when, a shot was open and the kid close to go in closer to where defenders were, smh  ::) ::)::)
It is very hard to rebound when the Ozen players have both arms wrapped around your body.  And when Ozen players jump up and chop you on the shoulder with their elbow (4).  For the majority of the game, the calls were even, what was fair for one was fair for the other.  But, as the regulation game came to an end, the refereeing was so biased, even a "non-basketball" person could tell.  Talk about needing to fix something.
:'( :'( :'( :'(
i can't say I saw that. I saw a Ozen team that clearly had better shooters then my jags. If we can't spread the floor by hitting some outside shots, wiliridge will not have room to do what clearly he's capable of doing. Free throws are crucial especially in these types of contest. Hats off to Ozen, your resiliency helped you prevail.
 7. Wow, talkin about getting off the subject. Good game jags, and way to compete dogs. Hope the next meeting's more pleasant.
 8.
His point is that there are not the same athletes running through beaumont right now. In football and basketball there is only 1 kid receiving FBS or Div1 offers (Tony Brown) and some people question if he is deserving or not. I have a friend that is a college coach that I grew up with. I asked him why arent colleges coming through beaumont any more. His words and I quote, "There arent athletes there anymore plain and simple, and the ones that are still there have major attitude problems" Beaumont isnt what it once was people wake up and live in reality.
ok, for one, attitude can go both ways. Could be a problem with the kid, could be the coach. I'd say a lot of times in Beaumont as of late, it's been the coaching. Now, athletes come and go. Every team has drop offs, rebuilding years, but with my jags for example, Robert Mitchell is a prime example. I really think this kids decline of progression was coaching. He showed so much potential as a freshman, and soph. His junior and senior year clearly signified something was wrong. He had no confidence, and the coaches consistently kept him in difficult positions. Hard for a college or professional player to over come let lone a high school kid. This problem does exist. A good coach can take a not as talented team, instill discipline in the kids and compete at a competitive level. It really depends on the coaches, and the kids buying into the system. And of course it helps to have a few good athletes, beaumont still has plenty. It starts with coaching, he has total control and dictates the success of the program and a lot of times a kids collegic future.

I am glad the kids will get new direction. They were clearly being lead in the wrong direction. Change is relevant. The jags need to clean house completely. It's all about the kids.
So how do you think the Jags will do with a new HC and probably a new system?  Playoffs??
Hey we'll see. New start, is good. Me for one I'm just glad Ito get a new start. I'm thinking playoffs is a possibility with what we have coming back. Lets just see what we look like. I'm not gonna get ahead of myself :D
i have a memory lapse: who is he?
the only Derrick Scott I can remember played at WestBrook in the mid 90's. I think he played both ways, TE, defense I think. He later played for the Longhorns. This is the only D Scott I can recollect.
 12. I read an article in the B.E. that stated he'll be back with the Jags. He said the returning players should help the Jags be competitive. If his assistants stay intact, it will be another long year for my Jags.

 14. I wish  Enoch was still around, one of the best in tha business.
 15. Wow, way to make it interesting jags. I really didn't think we had this in us, even though I saw the potential.
 16. I read that colleges will still line up for his commit. He's that good.

I heard there's a nation wide ban on them.
 18.
How is Central's team looking this year?? havent been on in awhile
One of the most unphisical teams I've seen. The online thinks they Are just suppose to allow the defense to rush their QB. Not very inspiring to watch. They have talent in spots. #5 is the real deal. He gets passed the defense with ease. Brook started jamming him in the second half. #15, the kid has live legs. We have no plays to get him in open space. He'd kill opponents. Well you know about the Mitchell bros. a few other players showed a little. Other than that, we'll do good if we made the playoffs. I honestly don't see it. >:(
 19. Beaumont Central Port Arthur Memorial Dayton Barbers Hill Goose Creek Memorial Little Cypress-Mauriceville Vidor West Orange-Stark-close one Anahuac Hardin-Jefferson Buna Coldspring-Oakhurst Corrigan-Camden Hardin Newton Jasper Shepherd Deweyville Hull-Daisetta West Sabine Burkeville West Hardin Willis High Island Chester
 20. No prediction from me. But man, when was the last time Central was picked to beat DaBrook. Wow!!!
 21. Int at the end  :( he looked for #34 too much at the end. The receiver on the side line belled him out once. I'd have stuck with him. Green really looked good though, I know Dayton's proud.
 22.
WOW, is there a single decent team east of the trinity this year?
Yea, yo boyz were eliminated last year by one of em.
