Key words:May be on its way.One thing about 7 on 7 it gets kids some xtra work and there are eyes in recruiting watching and making notes ;) 8)
7 on 7 is good work for kids in these summer months. I don't see how a game which the center is on his knees, tossing the ball to the QB, no need to block B/C there's no pressure on the QB. No running game involved. I don't see how this compares to a real contact football game. But, I commend L-CM for their success in this 7 on 7 tourny. Good Luck on your Championship quest also. ;)

I really think that was our year, and If we get past them IMO we had a good shot at LT.. or The Bay City-Central game in 03. One of our better Teams to come through Central,.Let that Game Slip through Our fingers To the State Runner up Bay City..
I agree! I do have to give credit to the Bay City defense. They didnt' let us do much of anything. Allow me to add the 2005 game vs WB. Started the game off 14-0 and ended up losing 14-17...
I can't remember the exact year, but it was 1998 or 1999. Central against highly ranked NS. Chad coleman gets over thrown on a sure game winning TD. I was sick >:( ;D Northshore was stacked @ running back, 2 hosses, and a hellava QB. Defense was bad to the bone. My Jags held their own.We sould have won this game. :'(

The JAGS are still on TOP of 20 4A with 4 rounds deep under their belt but thats all in the PAST....
I agree. I remember Ozen whipping us good a few times. And your right. The past is the past. I'm a Jag, but I do hope that Ozen have a successfull season. They've been due for one...
:o cmon soulja, the jags is on a roll. Ozen's due to come out of it's rut, but let it not be against our jags ;D
Top 4 as of right now 1st Central (the most hungry) 2nd PNG (if the offense is as good as last year easily moves to number one) 3rd Nederland (Could easily be top 2 depending on their QB) 4th LCM (second most improved team last season and continued to get better as the season went on) But i wouldn't sleep on Ozen, i have a feeling that giant may come back to life this season. And if that happens, it is really going to be fun and exciting this fall in 20-4A once again. ;D
We'll see

[Hidden Content] Guess Mack left his foot off the peddle on this kid.
If by "left his foot off the peddle" you mean Mack never seriously recruited him, you're right. Sims was at best their 4th option. They only offered Malcolm Brown and Aaron Green at RB. I would have offered Sims, but there's a reason I don't make 5 mil a year to be a coach.
If Mack gets Brown and green it would be a homerun. Thunder and lightening!! -

The honorable thing to do (in my opinion) would be to say thank you for the kind gesture, but lets see if we can't sell the naming rights (for additional revenue), but if you feel strongly about naming something after me, name the field house or field itself. BigWolf10 replied to Boogy1000's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
One the best i ever saw was Willie Ray Smith Jr good size back with 9.5 100 yd dash speed in the late fifties Gayle Sayers came home with him during college he was impressed with his skills Willie Ray Jr was good ,he was called the impala....
I heard alot about Willie Ray. I heard he was able to stop on a dime and eccelerate side ways then burst up field like no one after him. His dad played him with an injured leg and he never was the same I heard. -

who will have to best qb in 20-4a
BigWolf10 replied to sitsinstands's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
No disrespect but, to every successful QB, there's some dependable recievers. Our running game will be there. I'm not sure about our passing game because, i'm not sure about our recievers. Our young gunner really gave me a breath of fresh air when he came in against F-Wood. He showed flashes of success. I'm really thinking he'll be a good one with help from supporting cast. -
