  1. Oh man how I'd love my cross town rivals to prevail. But, will they????
  2. Good observation. Like a double edge sword. They do move the ball very well. Your right. They will need to shore up that defense some, though. I think the big problem Vidor will have is stopping Keith. Keith will have a huge night. They need to contain everyone else. Vidor's offense will move the ball and score often, Lumberton will also. Won't eclipse 113 but will be in the 60' 70' or 80's
  3. perfect assessment
  4. Keep those heads up Bruins, make them playoffs
  5. Orange #3? Only question mark to me. No disrespect to the stangs
  6. i don't think LCM will have any problem getting up for this one. I do hope the Jags aren't looking ahead. I don't think the defense is happy by their performance last night. Redemption is required.
  7. I bet those Lumberton scouts were shaking in their seats. ;D I'll bet they were. Their finger nails are problably bleeding from the biting also ;D
  8. Clearly after the bad showing against the Ozen Panthers, the Bulldawgs seem to be down. But just b/c this is a rivalry, it would be foolish for the ndn's to take them lightly. i think png wins, the question is by what margin.
  9. as i said on a previous post, i never unberestimate an opponent. I'm sure LC-M is new and improved, but we are also. I hope we come to play again. If Our defense plays lites out, and our offense click on all cylinders, i think I'll appreciate the outcome ;D
  10. 113 points Vidor Vs Central, a record. Always a close game between us. I am glad I made this game. I actually was leaving when Vidor missed the field goal. And was told Central was off side I went back to watch the remainder of the game but, couldn't take it when Vidor was going for two. I listened from the parking lot. Either Vidor will celebrate or Central will
  11. ??? I know this post doesn't reflect on the majority of the vidor fan base. They showed me more class then this last night :
  12. Nope. New Coach, new attitude... Big House ask them boys from last night just how hard this Central team can hit!!!! They hit pretty hard. Them Pirates kept getting up though....IMPRESSIVE!!!!
  13. Not a classier post on this thread, thumbs up
  14. Jag Grade 1st District game Offense: I give them a A+, they scored every single time we needed it. The running game and passing game was clicking pretty good. i was pleased. Defense: I give them a B, they gave up too many yards, even though I know Vidor's execution was part of the problem, still gave up too many yds special Teams: I give them a A, b/c they helped us win this game. although the onside miscue could've been costly, the made PAT's the two point conversion and the good returns helped us win. Oh yea, that last long return we gave Vidor was a heart breaker. You still held your own. Overall: I give us a A. Well fought game. Never gave up and pulled out the victory
  15. I think Lumberton will be able to strike fast and often in the air with Keith and co. but Vidor will run the ball down their throats. It will be the same kinda game C vs V. Maybe not the same score but I can't see it being low scoring. May the best team win. I'll just say this though ''Vidor has no quit in them. They will keep coming" Will be a good one.
  16. wishes for speedy recovery
  17. I remember #25 having success against us last year along with the other big Back they had last year, Reynolds... Yea #34 is a sideline runner, that can get the corner. Our kids could run him down but he did have success. #30 was a compliment to 25 and 34. I say it again, that running game is ridiculous Lumberton better bring their lunch. Man, I know that'll be a good one. 20 4a should be entertaining no matter which game you attend.
  18. Vidor's #25 is a workhorse, and I was glad to see him shake off a few injuries That running game Vidor fields is rediculous
  19. Looks like LM played above their heads ;D
  20. Your supposed to root for your fellow Beaumont school! ;D I will root for Central from now on. ;D and you Pirates got my vote ;D
  21. tricky offense to defend against. Trap blocking, misdirections, fake handoffs in different directions. running backs that don't BS when the ball is given to them. Thumbs up to the Pirates . I enjoyed this game. If we'd lost this game, i'd still have been ok with it. Vidor played to win this game. I was thrilled we did win though ;D Way to play Pirates. Ok back to subject, I hope the game is competitive. But of course i hope my Jags are victorious. We now know we can put up some points ;D
  22. complaining about the clock and not at the game >. Vidor's field goal was blocked but they was given another chance at it, which was successful. Clock, clock, clock, at lease it was working. Slowing it down helped Vidor. Refs missed calls both ways. But c'mon lets not tournish the effort these kids put out lastnight. both squads deserved to win that game. Vidor, I'll be pulling for you the rest of the way.
  23. way to go Panthers 1 & 0 ;D
