True, but this is taking nothing from the pirates. the ball did seem to go through the endzone. The officials overall called the cleanest game. They blew a call in the north endzone when heard clearly brokr the plain, they marked him short. The two point conversion was suspect also, though. What a game and what a competetive nature both these teams possess

Yes, I remember that game. Brandon Williams carried like 4 Vidor defenders in the end zone with him. The BIG O Line will bust open a hole and one of our very talented backs will bust through and go for about 40 before anyone will have a chance to catch up with him and if you think this is all we have , Get ready for a surprise! I agree with you jimmy. Last season my jags were up and down all season, but pick up speed in the playoffs and became a better team in the post season. I hand out overratings when it's all said and done. The teams that start first don/t always finish first. And a ranking don't assure you a undefeated season. When Jasper played Gilmer in the Championshup game in 04' they were not undefeat, they had blimishes on their record. If wo don't make the playoffs and don't do well in the playoffs if they make it, then maybe the overrated title will be earned. But until then, suck it up stangs!!!!!

Lets get something straight. What in your mind will prove Vidor is over rated? If it is a close game lets say we loose by 2 td? Will that prove it to you. What about 1 TD? You know honestly, Vidor is a good test for the Jags, and the Jags are are a good test for The Pirates. May the best team win, hopefully my Jags ;D. But still I know for a fact, I will be pulling for any team in this district come Playoff time. So, it's all in fun Exerting yourself in the love for your team, but I keep in mind, these are kids. It's all in fun to me. I'll be anti-Pirate come Friday. I'll totally crave Black and Gold blood ;D. May the best team win. I just hope the refs let the kids play and have little if no affect on the game. I hope it's a good solid competitive game. I can hardly wait ;D

There's nothing to figure out. Friendswood has more talent at nearly every position. You can't outcoach that. I agree Westend, they were better than us at every position(except Kicker). I don't think the outcome would have been much different no matter who the QB was. Friendswood dominated both lines of scrimmage, they hit us in the mouth and made us like it. As for the turnovers, Nederland probably fumbled about 10 times tonight. They can't expect to do anything in district unless they start taking better care of the ball. Especially since the Dogs defenses of the past few years don't create many turnovers. Hopefully they can learn from this game and be ready to go next Friday against Ozen. Now the real games start, time to buckle up the chin straps and play up to their capabilities. Oh man, don't look good
