I bought 3 tickets to the State Championship games in Arlington for this week for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and will not be able to go.  The tickets were $15+fees for each day and that includes the noon, 4pm, and 8pm games.  I will sell them for $10 each.  They will cost $15 at the door. 

That's right!  Now pass me those chips and hot sauce.

One thing that is not being mentioned is numbers and talent.  The talent at HF has been lacking for a while.  There are some good classes coming up.  The numbers game that use to work in HFs favor back in the 80s and 90s are now working against them.  HF has been 3A for years.  They use to play EC, Anahuac, Warren, OF, Buna, SFA ans so forth.  Still playing a few of the old 3A district teams but now have to deal with WOS, Silsbee, Bridge City.  They no longer have what is considered as a larger enrollment.  Shoe is on the other foot and the talent is down.  The only way to turn it around is for the community to get behind a coach and keep their mouths shut.  Winning will come and more kids will play.  Whether Randy played on Friday night or not does not matter (I don't remember him getting to play).  He is a huge HF fan and supporter.

Is Glen still suffering from concussion or something else?

Ahhh you took the bait...  I'm actually a South East Texas fan but spend a lot of time in Austin. I've been to a few Lake Travis games.  Mainly because they have played in the State Championship 5 years in a row.  I have not seen any arrogance from their fans in person but I didn't see the 5A board you talk about either.  Every team has some arrogant fans.  All of them.  Hey even you showed some arrogance with your "2012 rematch with Cibolo Steele".  That's basically saying that PAM was going to just walk through the first few opponents with east.  That's being a little arrogant don't ya think??  Be honest..if you win 5 State Championships in a row you have the right to be a little arrogant.  I was pulling for both teams actually but now since they are on the 1 and done train to basketball season I'll have to follow EC, Newton, D-ville, Nederland, BH, WOS, and Silsbee move on to the second round.

They were seen eating crow after talking smack about Lake Travis being 1 and done.  Sometimes its better to keep quiet when you are green with envy...

Glad to see D-ville doing well but lets don't get carried away.  Deweyville shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Newton period.  Deweyville is not even in the same class with EC.  EC was putting it on Deweyville regularly.  I am glad to see Deweyville enjoy success in their new district. Enjoy your run and stop talking about how you would beat Newton and EC because that is just silly. 

Admit it Mr. Buddy.....You're JEALOUS of Lake Travis aren't ya???  I am...was pulling for both teams actually.  Now PAM has to beat Manvel or else ask Lake Travis to scoot over so they can get in the 1 and done boat with them.
