First of all, for Joaquin to get to Groveton they would have to go through Tenaha, Timpson, Garrison, and not far from Alto or Cushing. All are 2A Division 1. Garrison, Timpson, Tenaha, and Joaquin will be in district together. Question is who is going to be the other teams? Now remove Joaquin and that could be a district, but there is going to be another East Texas district that will move District 10 to Region 4 or District 9 to Region 2

Because in the state final there are still whippings. It happens.

2014 Rice Consolidated finished 4th and won in the first round. 2015 they finished 3rd and made it to the regional semi's. Lots of other examples. I think we need to quit worrying about how many make it and just let the teams play. If you somebody gets whipped so what. Those whippings take place in district also.

Hope Texans don't make that mistake.

Maxpreps has to be posted by coaches. If coaches don't post it won't get on there. That's all information: scores, records, playoffs.

He wasn't. If they hired a Head Coach this past summer he isn't. Believe he is the principal.

Also in defense of the coaches, a lot of teams( especially lower classifications) struggle with getting the right players( usually the right number) on the field. Don't know about the sulking, that can be a subjective impressions. Things on the field or sidelines are not always as they appear from the stands.

Have to agree with 89, can not judge on one play that may not have even executed correctly.

They are both nice uni's, Would like the navy and gold becoming their main one.

Not sure when or if the pitching they got will be major league ready.

Hope all these young arms work out. They are will be a long term answer, not short term.

Maybe today's trade will start to rebuild the farm system. My guess is they use Cordero for more prospects. Looks like they are rebuilding over reloading.

Have to get pitching!!!!! Draft and/or trade. Trade will work sooner, don't think Mills will survive the draft route, takes too long. There is no help in their system.

How will they match up with district 26?

Hopefully the pitching develops soon. Hate to waste the young talent on the field.
