Due to Thursdays rain the baseball tournament schedule has changed. Friday: 11am Woden vs Trinity 1pm  Woden vs Douglass 3pm Trinity vs Lovelady 5pm Alto vs Malakoff Saturday: 10 am Douglass vs Trinity 12pm Shepherd vs Mt. Enterprise 2pm Shepherd vs Alto 4pm Douglass vs Lovelady

Lovelady 4 Woden 0 Shepherd 9 Malakoff 2 Mt. Enterprise 6 Alto 4 Mt. Enterprise over Malakoff-not sure about score. last 2 games canceled by rain.

What's yours? [/quote] No Pass-No Play aside, this school is violating rules if they are practicing to 9-10. You can only practice 8 hours a week. That's about 1:30 to 1:45 a day right now.

If they are bigger, faster, and more disciplined than you, you are probably going to lose no matter what you run. The flexbone(or any option) works best when the system has been ran for a long time and the QB has worked at it and can read it well. Most HS teams I've seen run it don't read it and don't change the plays at the line. Both important. Barbers Hill is supposed to run the flexbone(the coach they bought won a state title with it).  It's great until you face a disciplined team that is bigger and faster, the you get your flexbone offense blown up.  If you want to see it happen, check out the Dayton vs BH game in about a month. Lovelady scored 1 in the 3rd, 6 in the 4th, 3 in the 5th on 8 total hits and didn't bat in the 7th.

Lovelady's starting RB (#28) did not play. #1 was not the starting RB.

There is no team defense on maxpreps. If you look closely at the one that has Evadale #3 is interceptions. There are only 47 of the over 160 A teams that have put their stats on there. #47  is Valley Mills and they only have 4 games listed( 1 interception). Maxpreps is a very unreliable state wide ranking, good for a specific individual, but not a team.

Most teams don't post on maxpreps. Only about 10-20 of the over 160 A teams post their stats.
