I finally got to watch the game and really enjoyed it. WF is definitely the better team. The way they could counter attack was the difference in the game. The high kick to the face didn't look that bad until the camera showed Valentin on the sideline. Wow he got smacked. Next year's College Cup is going to be played at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco.

The Dynamo have acquired Bobby Boswell from DC United for keeper Zach Wells and a future draft choice. The best defense in the league and now they get one of the best defenders in MLS.

The U 17's played Russia today and looked really good. The US team dominated the game, played really fast and moved the ball extremely well. They have a 13 year old playing center mid, the kid is good, I believe his name is Rankin. I enjoyed watching these youngsters play and I'm sure we will be seeing some of these guys playing on the national team before to much longer.

Maybe I missed something, because I don't know where all this hate is coming from. I will tell you this FriendswoodFan, don't feel sorry for the players, because they don't need your pity. My son plays for both coaches, shark and Bon_Mot and I consider him very fortunate.

If jerry mathers works as hard at playing soccer as he does at trying to convince everyone that kelly is the best team in the area then he would be really good. ;D ;D ;D

The bottom line is that Kelly plays 15 or so games before the area teams even step on the field. so playing area teams in the first couple of weeks of their season really doesn't make it a common fact that you are the best team in the area. Kelly is a very good team and is lucky to have shark for a coach, so I know for a fact that after playing 15 games Kelly is much improved from the beginning of the season.

Is the guy in the red jacket the Kelly coach? :D

Looks like Nederland has a tough non-district schedule.

1. Kelly 2. Lumberton 3. West Brook 4. Central/Nederland 6. Vidor 7. PNG 8. LCM 9. Silsbee 10. Memorial In 4a I see Lumberton winning with Central/Nederland splitting. Nederland will still be the youngest team in the district. Lumberton and Central are returning a lot of players. If Nederland's young team can come to play every night they will be a playoff team.

I went to the game at reliant when the usa played mexico about 4 years ago. Hey it was wild in there. I thought I was in mexico. 70,000 people and probably 60,000 of them were hispanic. It was a blast, I'm going to try to make this one.

I gotta go with the Dynamo. Their defense is relentless, they put pressure on every ball. Hopefully Ching will be ready to play. Go Dynamo!!!

We definitely could use more officials, 3 at each game would really be great. I can't imagine 1 person officiating a high school game. I did see that happen a couple of years ago at a tournament in Santa Fe. That was not good at all.

I hope Jozy gets the start and gets plenty of playing time. He brings another dimension to the game that the US men can use.

I would love to see Davy and Lance Watson do well, but I'm still pulling for the Dynamo. They are the better team and have an excellent chance of repeating.

Losing Gutierrez really sucks for the the dogs... the defense is really gonna have to step up. Guty has been the catalyst on that defense. Keeping my fingers crossed. Go Dogs!!!

Winning does wonders, and I'm glad to see it for the kids. Nederland and PNG have been packing the stands game after game for years, win or lose, definitely the best fans around and I'm proud to be part of that group. That's why both teams have the tradition they do. GO DOGS!!!

One player that instantly comes to my mind is Ryan Butler.
