I believe WOS will be fine. We have a better football team than a lot of people want to give us credit for. Whole lotta people thinking Vidor was going down to mediocrity this year....not going to happen. We have not one but two head coaches on our team with playoff experience now. There's a lot to be said for that.

It's called "quiet confidence". What I noticed is how quiet it was around the tee pees until y'all had your scrimmage against TC. Now, I guess I'm gonna see all those purple canoes running around when we sail the Black Pearl down the Neches headed for Santa Fe next Friday.

[/quote] I was sitting in the stands with a friend from Mexico tupac7 and was explaining to him how WOS has probably put out more pros than any other school per capita. WOS is the measuring stick for programs in the area....4a or 3a. Both teams will be just fine. BTW, I would go with #16 as the QB; #7 seems to me would be better served @ a wide receiver. Y'alls middle linebacker is a beast; those collisions between him and Sage last night were epic!

Vidor was awesome tonight. Defense is solid and Brad Hartmann is a BEAST!!! You can only wonder if he could have played last year. Geth Simmons is settling into the QB role nicely and Sage Smith was outstanding. Those collisions between him and WOS's middle linebacker...you could hear them 3 blocks away. Lastly, remember this name...Halen Lekelt...Vidor freshman running back. You heard it here first!  [size=24pt][font=georgia][b]GO PIRATES!!![/b][/font][/size]
