There are twice as many schools and twice as many kids in school today as in my day, 1976. Back then, there were 4 or 5 teams per district, tops and no real megaschools like today. Perhaps we should make a 6A like some states. 4A has way too many schools with too much disparity of attendance for it. Clear Brook had a combined 800 yards of offense and 75 points in the two games (LaPorte / Katy SL) leading up to us. We don't sub out at the end of the game they have only 7 and less than 200 last week. This game will come down to turnovers and be decided by less than a TD.

Blackbuc, I think we talked about this during the Clear Brook game. Couldn't agree more....this game will come down to turnovers, IMO.

Be ready for that because he does it well. Not saying that Clear Brook's D-line is Nederland's but they were pretty big and physical and we handled them well. Slot-T is not about size and strength but speed and technique. Also, I believe our defense will match up well with your offense...it did last year and it's basically the same one.

I was fortunate enough to sit with Montana's parents at the Clear Brook game. It is a wonderful experience watching them go through the pain and anguish of every play and the exuberance of their son doing well. Two extremely nice people...BTW, Montana has two younger brothers who play as well. What high school football is all about.

This is just gonna be a good football game and you better get your tickets now or you won't get one. I'm putting up 5 portable deer stands on the baseball field for those who don't get a ticket....$200.00 a seat; rifle not included.

We're #10 on Maxpreps. Dave can keep voting in the prom queens, we'll keep playing football.
